This was a game-changer for me. Seriously.

I've been cooking for over 40 years and my kryptonite is *sauces and gravies*. I've never been able to make gravy from scratch (that's edible, anyway). I made sauces using a skillet instead of a saucepan because it gave me a better chance of being able to get all the ingredients whisked together with a regular wire whisk, that created its own issues. Maybe it's my hands, I don't know. I just know that powdered gravy mix and sauces from bottles and jars were my lot in life. Then I found this thing. HALLELUJIA!! No ingredient hides from this whisk! There's no corner a clump of flour can hide, it will HUNT YOU DOWN. Things come together, mingle properly, and taste good! I can make gravy! I can make sauce! In their proper pans so they don't evaporate too quickly! My husband continues to be amazed. I kiss him every time I hear him say "YOU made this??". Where has this been all my life?!?! I've worked in several professional kitchens, kitchenware stores are my happy place (I love you, Williams Sonoma, but not as much as I love Sur la Table), and I never saw one until I ran across this on Amazon. If you've ever struggled like I have, you owe it to yourself to get one of these.

Love it!

I really like this whisk. It helps eliminates lumpy gravy/sauces. The coating on the bottom coil protects my non-stick pans from scratches.

The most sturdy whisk I've found!!

For any of you farmers out there who use milk replacer, THIS IS YOUR GO-TO whisk!!! It's a little on the bigger side, radius wise, so it's GREAT for mixing in shorter pails! It's sturdier than any others I've used, and the round coils ensure you get all that milk replacer around the bottom "edges". I feel it would be a little big for a small saucepan, but would work well for the bigger ones. Ironically, this was supposed to replace my old Papmered Chef whisk.....ha!!!

Lumps be gone!

This was a gift and it’s amazing! This is good for use in a non-stick skillet. It was pretty easy to clean, as long as you don’t let the food set on it to dry. I live in a house with people that can make gravy without lumps, but this sweet lil’ gadget reduces the amount of stirring to create a nice smooth gravy. A must add to the kitchen collection!

Best device and must have to whisk roux

I love this whisk. I use it for making my roux (flour and broth thickener). The mixer is so much better than a traditional whisk. The rubber coating insures no scratching. I have another design that is silicone coated but the inside wires are popping out now. This design will not do that. This is a kitchen tool that you can't live without.
