Very solid!

Too stiff. I wanted one that was a little more flexible. Still, works excellently for many none fish items, which a very flexible spatula one would fail on. Overall happy!

Sturdy cooking utensil

When you first pick this fish turner up, you notice it has surprisingly good heft to it and feels like a solid cooking utensil. It's well made of sturdy metal that feels like it could easily hold up to turning the largest fillets of fish you might want to cook. Of course, you could also use it to cook a lot of other things like steaks. The utensil does have a top and bottom side (the top side has lettering etched on it). However, viewed from the side, the utensil looks pretty flat, with only a very slight curve. In other words, the handle isn't angled up away from the rest of the utensil. If used for cooking in a pan, having the handle angled up could potentially help the utensil clear the edge of the pan. If you wanted, you could always bend the handle up on your own. For cooking on a grill, it shouldn't be a problem. This fish turner has an attractive brushed stainless steel finish. It looks like a quality utensil. The grip feels like hard rubber. This is a good utensil for cooking on a grill and obviously is useful for more than just cooking fish.

High quality and worked great.

I ordered this for my husband to use at our grill. He wanted to grill up some tuna steaks and I knew the spatulas we had wouldn't be ideal for the job of gently turning fish. This is a great item that is very well made from brushed stainless steel. It has a nice cushioned handle and the turning surface is long and slender which is fantastic for getting under the length of the fish. I paired it with a silicone BBQ mat and he said it was the easiest time he has ever had grilling fish. It was easy to clean and looks like brand new when it was cleaned. The price is really good on this item coming in at just under $23 at the time of this review. Highly recommend.

Very sturdy and useful

I was tired of flipping fish on a grill with a small spatula designed for burgers. A fish spatula should be long enough to handle a decent sized filet or steak while supporting its weight across its entire length. This spatula is really well made, with a comfortable handle. The stead is sturdy and strong, with just enough flexibility to slide under a piece of fish. I got it primarily for the grill, since most of my pan cooking is done on nonstick, and this would not be safe for a nonstick coating. It does the job really well, and could also work for any non-coated pan or griddle surface. It's a quality a utensil that serves its purpose perfectly - recommended!

Heavy-duty, well-made, just what I was looking for

This Everdure fish turner by Heston Blumental is heavy-duty, smooth-edged, quality-made, and comfortable to hold. Not only that, but it simply looks modern and sleek. It is slotted along its length and has a nice amount of spring. The metal is nicely thick. This turner looks as if it will last a lifetime. Just what I was looking for. Awesome kitchen tool for fish

If you make a lot of fish, you know it can be tricky to flip the fish without having it fall apart. This spatula is awesome and is going to last you a lifetime. It's so well made and beautiful too. The only thing I'll note is that it's a little thicker than other fish spatulas I've used which means it's more rigid and perhaps a little more likely to damage the fish if you're not careful.
