Looks great, non-functional

First the 5 star review, they look fantastic, they are comfortable to wear even being in your feet 8+ hours. I was looking for a dress shoe to wear as a bartender in a more upscale restaurant. They fit the part 100%, however it is still a restaurant and the defining factor was the slip resistance. These shoes fail in that department, the tread pattern doesn't function well in a slippery environment I've nearly slipped 5 times in the 4 days I've had them. If they really did help prevent slipping it would be a 5 star review, but since that was the primary reason to purchase and it doesn't hold up. 2 stars are all I can provide

Nice looking no -slips

Shoes are pretty good and stylish , especially for non-slips. The first day use left a blister but once broken in it’s decent. I did replace the insoles to more supportive ones. The stock insoles didn’t provide enough support for working 12 hours days in a restaurant.

The only thing it does right is look nice.

I purchased these shoes as a replacement for an old, old, pair of no-slip canvas sneakers , hoping for similar performance with a more professional and high-class look for my cook job. Unfortunately, these shoes were some of the worst slip-resistant shoes I've ever owned. To start with: they slip. For whatever reason (I'm no cobbler, but I suspect it has something to do with the extremely shallow tread these things have) these shoes have absolutely no traction whatsoever on any surface besides bone-dry tile. Forget about walking through a wet dish room or across a floor covered with the night's coating of fryer oil; try that, you're going to eat pavement. Basically, they fail at the one thing that I wanted them to do. I could have looked past the pinchiness of the heel, which could be remedied with breaking in or a pad, but when I purchase a pair of no-slips I expect them to provide traction on at least water, if not light coatings of soap and oil. I returned these and probably wont be buying another of this brand in the future, if this is what I can expect.

Elegant and comfortable shoe at a great price!

We are Stacy Adams shoe lovers in this household and so it's no surprise that we love these shoes. I love them because they are so elegant looking, but yet classic too. My husband loves them because they are so incredibly comfortable and compliment whatever he is wearing. He has received so many compliments from both men and women about these dress shoes from coworkers and customers alike. And like other Stacy Adams shoes, these are well-made and hold up to my husband's demanding job, which includes a lot of walking each day, without hurting his feet. Worth every penny spent, but didn't break the bank like some dress shoes do!

Killed my feet

They look good and have good slip resistant but man they killed my feet the first couple times I wore them. I couldn’t walked by the end of my 10 hours shift in them and my feet still hurt the day after.

AMAZING!

Disregard what anyone else says about this shoe. Like any dress shoes they need to be broken in, these broke in suprisingly quick and remain comfortable, the durability of this shoe is also incredible, after one year of use they look almost brand new (after a good polishing of course). The only down side I can see with this shoes is the laces didn't last the first 2 months. Contemplating buying a second pair just to always have a fresh set shined and ready to go.

Super comfy once broken in

These shoes look so good for a non-slip shoe. For whatever reason non-slip shoes often times look ugly! These look great, a little stiff at first, but once you break them in, super comfy. I wear them 5-6 days a week, 30+ hours of nonstop walking. For me the nonslip bottom began to wear through at about 6 months, but I wear them so much, and I often times work on the concrete patio (inside is slippery). Great price, highly recommend! I already bought my second pair!
