Not stride rites best shoe

At first, these shoes were great! They seemed to be holding up well. I love stride rite shoes and don't mind paying more for them since my children usually grow out of them before they ever wear out. I have several pairs that I have kept and used again with my younger daughter. These ones just didn't seem to be as high quality. They looked and felt more broken down after a short period of time. They are nearly impossible to clean and looked filthy after a few days at school. Then, the top part (where the softer fabric connects to the leather in the toe area) ripped out when she was putting them on. Keep in mind, I have only had these for a few months- and since we live in Montana and have had snow already she has been wearing her other boots quite a bit. I've never had this happen with another pair of stride rites, these ones just seemed to be more cheaply made.

Learned my lesson to read reviews before purchasing

beautiful beautiful shoes. Pretty sparkle in the material. Stride rite’s are always so well made. I was super excited to receive these sneakers and super disappointed when they arrived. Naturally, I sized up to allow my daughter room to grow in them. Even with a larger size, literally only her toes fit into them. The opening is SO small and the shoe is SO narrow, there’s no way a foot can get into the shoe unless if you maybe order 15 sizes up. I fully regret not reading the reviews before purchasing as now I realize most everyone else has the same issue with them. If your child has abnormally marrow feet, then these are the shoes for them.

Looks great but too firm

The color is very pretty but it is too firm to push the feet in. Giving three stars because putting in and taking off shoes is little hard for the kiddo.

Sparkly and comfortable

They fit a little narrow but are very comfortable. My daughter loves the sparkles.

Disappointed, fell apart on first wash.

I was excited on the deal I got on these. Shoes that were made to be played in and washed, awesome. Well then I washed them. The first time and the seams were coming apart on the toes,on both shoes. Pretty disappointing. They are really coming apart now. Out of all the shoes I have purchased these have broke down the fastest.

Cute and comfortable

These are great! I needed something cute enough for my 7 yo to wear with dresses but also be comfortable and do PE in and these are perfect. Stride Rite always a great shoe

Good Fit! Pretty Shoe!!

This is a great shoe! It fits just like it should, looks good and my granddaughter likes wearing it. It looks very feminine and is nice enough to be worn with a dress if need be.
