Best dish cloths for me

I've used these now for a couple years. I get about 3 months out of each one, which for me is a lot better than other dish rags, since I ring them out pretty hard so they dry out easily at night. If you don't mind the holes that start to form you can easily get 4 - 6 months out of each one, especially if you don't ring them out hard, like I do. Maybe you don't even get the holes if you don't ring them out so hard, I don't know. I know that wears out fabric. They start out a little rough, but after about a week or two of use they're softer. I'm guessing if you ran them through the washer the same thing would happen. I've seen comments saying they don't hold much water but to me they hold PLENTY of water. Once again, they probably hold more after a week or two of use. By the end of about 3 months they feel soft, but there's still enough texture there to work out almost anything that's on your dishes. They easily remove oil from dishes, but of course a person should always get almost all oil off dishes before washing them with soap and a rag. I can put a few drops of soap on the rag (I never understand the whole swimming pool thing that some people do where they always need a pool of water), and go through quite a few dishes without having to add more soap to the rag. As the title says, these are the best dish rags I've ever used and have bought enough to last me many years because I don't want to be without them, period. But, it does take a week or two before they're in the condition that I really enjoy. Patience is a virtue.

Average cloths

Average. These washcloths are pretty thin; I can actually see through the white/checkered pattern. Cleaning absorbency is average. I haven't used them for a long period, so I can't write on how long they'll hold up. Probably won't purchase again.
