Fome or Felt

I wanted QST 36 Felt but I didn't know it at the time. The Amazon add should make clear there are two kinds of QST 36 tennis balls and how they differ. I returned the QST 36 Fome and doing so was very easy. I separately then ordered the QST 36 Felt and like them very much.

Training balls for my grand daughters

i bought these on the recommendation from a teaching tennis pro. Great for early eye hand coordination. Eventual tennis training. Can use anywhere. won't hurt to use indoor if needed.

Product description could be misleading

I got the 12 pack foam balls for my 5-year-old boy to start his tennis practice. Per their product description, these balls are good for 8 years and under; and will change to the orange balls at 9 years old. So I thought these could be of good value and could last for some time. However, my boy only played with these balls for a few days. He found out that these do not bounce the same way as his coach's red tennis balls do, and did not like them. These balls are a lot slower and need quite some strength to hit, and they don't bounce much. Then I realized I was misled by the product description, the one I should be looking for is the 'Youth Felt Red Tennis Balls for Beginners', not this 'Youth Foam Red Tennis Balls for Beginners'; both of the products look identical as another reviewer mentioned, wish I saw the review before I purchase.

practice? we talking about practice?!

Why didn't they have these when I was a kid? I bought them after someone recommended them to me since my son wanted to swing a tennis racket. Or is it racquet? I feel like I would have developed a proper swing if I had these growing up. They bounce like a real tennis ball without the hardness(?). A potential downside is that they tend to pick up a lot of dirt, more so than regular tennis balls, and water is a complete no-no, though you wouldn't play tennis in the rain anyways, these will soak up water since they're spongey.

Bouncy and soft enough not to break household items

My husband bought these for my son. Great for a twk year old. They are much bigger than regular tennis balls and much softer. They are soft and bouncy and the great thing is I dont fear him breaking anything in the house because they are so squishy. They are great for playing tennis with too which is what dad and him use it for. He once threw the ball at me while playing catch and it hit me on the face by mistake and it didn't hurt. Thats how soft it is.

Great balls for a beginner

The media could not be loaded. Great balls for a beginner! We started with normal tennis balls which my 9 year old son did fine with, but we thought we would give these balls a try and I’m glad we did. As you can see from the video, it has a good bounce to it, and is easy to hit for my son which has helped with his accuracy while learning the game.

Dog didn’t eat them

These are pretty light. Bought them for my 1.5 year old. He doesn’t quite understand tennis yet but he can toss these pretty well. Also the dog doesn’t seem to care for them which is nice.
