Nice, colorful, durable

I bought a different Tervis bottle last year and decided to pick up the 2-pack for my son. A little pricey, but Americans have to live, right? And plastic content of foreign bottles is never a certainty. I had to order straws separately, kind of a bummer, but that is life. The bottles are nice and clear and the tops snap on and off with reasonable ease. They do seal well if tipped. All in all, a very useful bottle and the knowledge that one is supporting one's neighbors.

Love these Tervis tumblers!

Used to get these at Bed, Bath & Beyond but they don’t carry them in the store anymore and non were available online. I found them on Amazon and the price was comparable.

My favorite summer glass on Amazon

I’ve babied these in the past by Hand washing because they’re not cheap. I love these insulated “glasses” because I sip on beverages. Somehow they seem to disappear in my house. Maybe because they fit in a car cup holder so perfectly. With the newest ones, I put them in the dishwasher and they do fine. However, I do have a Bosch dishwasher and it doesn’t have a traditional heating element so I don’t know if that makes a difference. There’s nothing like the quality of Tervis.

Does a pretty good job keeping things cold

Does a good job of keeping my drinks cold. They do form a tiny bit of condensation but nothing significant, it doesn't get the table they are sitting on wet or anything. I do really like the accessories that you can buy for them.

exceptional quality for a plastic tumbler - buy with confidence

I was trying to replace some cheap versions of these clear tumblers that I had purchased at WalMart several years ago. The double-walled construction had broken, leaving me with two glasses - the outer shell and the inner liner. I live on a rock in the middle of the ocean so having tumblers that didn't "sweat" like regular glasses was important to me. I looked locally and could not find anything remotely like what I wanted, so I turned to Amazon.I did the research. I read the other products' descriptions. I read the reviews. I see that other purchasers either loved them or hated the Tervis brand. One even stated they were cheap and broke almost immediately. Might have been another size, but it was the Tervis brand. So, like many other purchases I've made in the past, I decided to go for quality rather than cheap price. I initially bought two, thinking that if I didn't like them, I'd not be out a whole set of 6 tumblers, which is what I needed. I received the tumblers and they were exactly as I expected. Thick plastic, heavier than my original ones, and packaged well. I bought another two after seeing the first two, and just today bought the remaining two for my set of six needed. But how would they perform? Just fine. They have only exhibited exterior sweat one time - when it was raining and 90% humidity in my house. I can't fault the tumbler for that. If you cannot hold a solid, heavyweight object, these are not for you. Fill them with liquid and/or ice and they'll be heavier. But they are quality. If they break, they are supposed to be lifetime replacement per the advertisement and the company's statement. Then again, you're not out a fortune if one does indeed break. My only caveat would be this: I believe my cheaper versions had the double-wall construction broken because of MY actions. I used to press the upper lip of the tumbler against my ice dispenser on the front of my refrigerator. I believe that pressure caused the seal to crack, leading to a brown stain inside the two walls (I drink a lot of iced tea). Eventually, the seal broke entirely. So I have learned, with VERY LITTLE EFFORT to simply place my index finger behind the tumbler lip and push with my finger against the ice dispenser trigger. That way, the pressure is on my finger and not the lip rim of the tumbler. DO NOT BUY CHEAP VERSIONS of this product if you are looking for high quality. Learn your lesson, people. You've all done it in the past and have been sorry for your choices. So buy quality - you won't regret it. And quality doesn't come cheap. It comes moderately-priced. Fair enough.

Strong but Too Big, Ugly & Sharp on the Lips

These tumblers are tough and they will keep your drinks cold. No question. I dropped one onto tile yesterday at it was just fine. But I really don't like the way they look. A cleaner design - and a smaller size (20 oz instead of 24 oz) - would have been preferred. Also, there is a sharp edge on the inner side of the lip of the cup that cuts my lips. It should be totally smooth so this won't happen. I have the 16 oz version that I bought 4 years ago and it's completely smooth (no lip cutting). It looks like it was just a quality control issue. I discovered it after the return period so I can't return them now. It's too bad. A great product otherwise.
