Simple and effective.

Very simple to install on the edge of a gutter. Works as advertised so far. This will easily pay for itself in water savings and avoid iced pavement as a bonus. This is a normally closed circuit and works perfectly with my Hunter Pro controller. Should have bought this years ago.

Squirrels gnawed away my last sensor to nothing, so it must taste good in addition to working well. I like that this also has a temperature sensor so we are not creating a sidewalk skating rink when it is below freezing.

Good quality sensor

Good quality. Connected to a rain bird system. Replaced a wireless freeze/rain sensor. Installs easy and seems to be working well.

Freeze sensor seems off

I installed this because it is required by code even though I have a Rachio Internet connected controller that checks the local weather for freezing temperatures and rain. It seems to detect rain fine but the freezing temperature seems pretty far off. On mornings that does into the low 40's were causing the sensor to trigger. It's not a big deal, but there's no way to adjust the freeze sensitivity, just rain.

The installation was simple,but a few fine tuning settings were required, i would recommend this unit to save water running when the rain starts
