Great halter

Some people love break away halters, I however have learned to hate them with my horse. My horse is stronger than he realizes and when he does a tiny head jerk when tied he will break leather like a blade of grass. He was getting in the habit of breaking his halter just so he can go back to his stall after worked. This nylon halter has now saved my ass 15+ times because my horse can tug and doesn’t get startled by his halter breaking. Whenever he pulls his head (even if he’s scared) he will feel the pressure not giving and actually calm down! He’s never tied to anything, I only wrap his lead rope around a hitching post. He could unwrap it if need be. This isn’t the perfect solution for every horse but this halter is my saving grace for my sanity and bank account.

it is economy

they are serious when they say enonomy. very light duty. nylon and the hardware are light. however, this does make it much easier to buckle and adjust, compared to normal halters. i got what i paid for, but likely would not intentually buy again. my horses are a little too wild for these light halters.

Runs big

Good everyday use halter but I can't use it. It's too big. I bought "small pony" size. My mini is on the large end of the size spectrum for mini horses, at 43 inches tall. He's got a beautiful dainty head. This halter was far too big. Picture is for size comparison to your pony. Paint is 15.2hh

Great halter

Affordable yet very functional. First one I got, the metal rings had metallic paint coming off, messaged the seller and they immediately responded and sent a new one. Great service and halter has held up well.

Halters arrived just as explained. I’m only using for Christmas pictures so unsure of how well they would hold up with continued wear but worked well for what I used them for!

Good halter wrong color

This is a good halter for the price. The horse size is snug on my 16.1 hh warmblood on the last hole. I ordered the royal blue and they sent me the black one which is disappointing. Can't afford to be without a halter while I ship it back to exchange it though.

If your on a budget....

It is what it says. It’s an “economy” halter. It does the job on a budget. Hardware is very cheap. But if this is all you can afford....works great.

Trying this product for a "halter breaker".

My horse has been breaking halters, both leather and nylon to the tune of six in less than a year. I bought these halters because if he breaks them, at least they didn't cost me a fortune. I got one with chin adjustment and one without, just to see if it makes any difference. These look to be a good functional product at a very reasonable price.

great product

this is a great product for the cost, my horse is out in the field 24/7 and loses halters. I'm not sure how long the clip will last. It seems like the weak link, maybe, but so far so good. Edit...Halter is still working very well, fits great, light weight and tho the clip looks cheap, it continues to do it's job.
