Love it, but don’t wear with a favorite t-shirt
This pack it perfect, except for one problem-where the mesh back covers the frame at the bottom corners, it causes pilling on T-shirts. I tried sewing up some pieces to fit over the straps and cover the corners, it’s not super classy but gets the job done - it’s just a shame that that was necessary.

Pretty Durable, Very Versatile.
I don't really consider myself to be very gentle with a lot of my outdoor equipment. That being said I've owned this pack for over 2 years and I've haphazardly thrown scissors and other hard pointy tools into the pockets and haven't had a hole yet. I've thrown a full jug of water in there and ran around some hillsides and never had the straps wear out. I've used it as a camelbak, day pack for hiking, and most recently as a fishing backpack (Although the lures and hooks were in containers and not just sitting in the bag). I think the most I had in the bag at one time was my hammock, 2 twenty foot ratchet straps, my rain fly, an E-tool, an extra fleece jacket, a 36oz water bottle in the side pocket, a poncho, and still had room for plenty of snacks and small misc gear. For a fisherman's reference I can fit three 2x20x10in Plano lure organizers and still have room for a 2.5x3x5 inch trout and crappie box and my 2x3x5 inch fly box on top of that. My favorite feature is the clips on either side of the backpack. You can use it to secure long items in the exterior side pockets or to simply compress the pack for a lower profile (this helps keep weight from shifting and somewhat helps keep the pack from getting caught on brush when hiking). I think I've used these little clips about 70-80% of the times I've taken the pack out. I've secured large fishing nets, large water bottles, small camping chairs, and fishing rods in the side pockets and used the clips to hold them down with no issue. As long as it continues to be durable this pack is worth the money. It's not too bulky or too tiny and can be used however you want to use it.

Well made
I like the fact it creates air space between my back and the pack. It should help to air out sweat on my back in summer time. I took out the rain cover and carry a bag of snacks in there. I can reach it easily to eat while I walk. One disappointment was that there weren’t more small compartments in the upper section to keep things separate. …And the hole for the water bladder tube is a bit too tight. I have to wear this pretty tight up close to my shoulder but was able to adjust it to wear comfortably. I’m enjoying it!

Amazing pack
Bought a cheaper pack on here at first and immediately returned after my first hike (the brand was Teton). This one fits amazingly well. It’s very lightweight. The straps fit and feel perfect. I love the updated feature on the back to help with airflow. I’m 5’3 135ish for reference. I saw this pack in store for $100 so it’s a good deal to order on here. It does not come with a hydration pack but for the price being cheaper on here, that was fine. I ordered the Teton hydration pack. My boyfriend bought a larger Osprey, the Stratos 24 and it’s awesome as well. I could carry it for a longer hike too because the straps adjust based on your height. Safe to say that I’m sticking with Osprey. ????????

Short hikes
Tired of carrying water bottles in hand and a cross body bag. First pack I’ve bought and went on a 3.5 mile hike. Bought an Osprey 2L hydration bladder to go with this. I’m 5’8, 200lbs and had no issues. Need to get more usage out of it but I feel like it’s still going to be a good pack. Love the hydration pack also.

Excellent quality backpack
I wanted this for cycling as I can often disappear for hours. This bag is held away from the back by a tensioned mesh which is really good at reducing back sweat. I fitted it with an aquapack without issue as it has a well covered hole for the drinking tube, a pocket to hold the water bag and restraints to hold the tube to the straps and out of the way whilst riding or walking. I put cycling tools, pump and spare inner tube in the main bag with my art equipment and still had some space. The front pocket was generous too and I kept a few items in one of the side pockets (one either side) which I think are designed for water bottles. I had a very comfortable day out. I have also used it to commute on my bike to work with a change of clothes, shoes and a laptop. I only just managed to get it all in the bag, with a microfabric towel for shower. It was still a comfortable ride. I have a larger backpack for days away and a smaller one for quick journeys. This backpack is comfortable and just right for commuting to work and a day out somewhere. The quality of the bag is excellent and it is well designed for my needs.

Roomy, lightweight and comfortable
My husband purchased a Hikelite 18 Hiking Pack for me some time ago. I was so pleased with the purchase that I treated my husband to one too! Ideal for days out without being too cumbersome!

Very impressed
I've had my trusty Vango day sack for over 10 years and it's never let me down. But the time came for an upgrade. I decided on the osprey because of their reputation. I used it yesterday for the first time on a 17 mile hike in the Peak District, in 30° heat. I fitted everything that I might need for the day with ease, and as it has the capacity to hold a 2 litre hydration bag was a big plus. The first thing I noticed was how lightweight it is, even wit my gear in it and 3 litres of water, it was no problem, I could barely feel it on my back. It's easy to take off and get back on when you have a rest too. But I was most impressed with the fact that I had no shoulder or back ache at the end of my walk (unlike my walking partner)! In short I'm over the moon with my purchase and would highly recommend this bag for a day on the hills.

Fantastic
Been using this as a day bag/ hiking every day for the past 3 weeks, really great. Comfortable and no back sweat. Only annoying thing is the side pockets don’t hold a water bottle securely as the elastic isn’t tight, even around a larger bottle.

Best thing since sliced bread. I have several Ospreys. Not this size. The right size for rambles with the husband and dog. Perfect. Quality just so. Would recommend. Was taken aback by the net that keeps the bag off your back. Makes the bag, when loaded, weightless. I am buying another for my grandson who has taken up serious hiking with grandad. You will not be disappointed. It’s the bag for keeping your back sweat free and cool on warmer days. All rounder really.
