Band hooks a bit lose on some purses

I like the size of this crossbody and having RFID protection, and good compartments. However, I had to reorder and send the other back and the hook closures on bands were weak. The band on these also should be considered to be a bit thicker. I hope manufacturer would consider this suggestion. Because when you fill the crossbody and specially put your mobile phone in it, it becomes heavier than the hook or band can tolerate on few hours of walk. I have had other Vera Bradley's of this size that had same problem as you walk occasionally the band comes lose from the hook, which becomes matter of security not to drop your bag say if you are on a cruise ship or above water or even on ground in a crowded place that if a thief would not snap it, it may easily be stepped onto it by someone close by. They should upgrade the quality of the hook and have a thicker band. That is why when I see a lose hook on a new bag I reject and send it back and order another one till I get a better hook, because when already new and lose what if when you fill the bag? I wish they would make this model with a rain proof material. Because this can easily get soaked in a rain.

Just what I needed

I had a wristlet from Vera Bradley for 12 years. Nothing wrong with it just a little worn. Replaced it with this and it’s exactly what I was looking for. Something I can put my phone in and have plenty of room for everything I need. Highly recommend this.

Just Perfect

I LOVE this purse! I don't like carrying a big purse, but this is just the right size to take for shopping, field trips with my kids, or quick errand runs. It's also just the right size to toss into my tote bag, work bag, or backpack depending on the events of the day. Plenty of space for my wallet items. My phone fits neatly into the snap pocket. The other zip pocket is perfect for storing the shoulder strap (when I am using as a wristlet), a lip balm, a couple of breath mints, and my daughter's medication if she is out with me. I can easily clip my keys onto the wristlet ring so everything is secure in one place and I can be hands-free!

Improved design

I used my prior crossbody purse until it wore to a frazzle. I was hesitant to get a new one but I am so glad I did. All the best design of the original AND added improvements.

Perfection!

This is the second Vera Bradley crossbody I have had in the past 10 years. There was nothing wrong with my original one; I just wanted a new one. My iPhone 14 Pro fits perfectly in the outer holder and there is plenty of room for all your cards, money, etc. I keep lip balm and a few other small items in the second section and there is a zipper on the outside for some change. This is all I need to carry with me and the strap is long enough to allow it to hang down to my hips and I am 5’8”.

Perfect size.

This little bag holds more than you think. The front pocket holds my Samsung S21 perfectly. The wallet and clutch pockets also hold plenty. Holds my keys and a few other things when needed. The strap is long enough for any configuration. I use the wristlet strap to hold my keys and keep everything in one place.

Perfect size and style to carry daily
