Multi-Sizr Jar Opener
Do you ever struggle with those hard to open jars? This near little device grips onto the lid and allows you to turn with ease. The opener is adjustable and you can stretch it several inches to fit various lid sizes. Great for those who suffer with arthritis.

Great tool for smaller bottles
This jar opener is solid, well made and functions as advertised. Be careful pulling out the metal shaft when fitting it around the lid since it can snap back with some force. I’ve had no luck actually opening a wide jar lid with this device. It securely attaches to the lid providing leverage but I’ve struggled to tightly hold the jar (3.5 inches across) with my other hand however it works perfectly on smaller bottles that I can wrap my hands around. This device works as intended and I’ll keep using it hoping for success.

Pretty helpful for jar opening. Unique design.

This review is for: Chef'n Multi-Size jar Opener, Ambidextrous, Baking White I was really curious about this device since it has multiple purposes and is a unique design as far as jar openers go. The jar opener function seems to work extremely well. It's a great design. I would recommend, if you have any trouble holding the jar while opening it with your other hand, to set the jar on a silicone mat or hotpad. It will help stabilize the jar while you open it with the other hand. I don't really have any use for the bottle cap opener, so I can't really comment on that function. The other purpose that intrigued me was opening can tops using the hook on the end of it. It works okay, but not as well as my tried and true method of a plastic fork. If the hook were more tapered, it would get under the tab easier. As it stands, you have to put some force on it in order to get the little hook underneath the tab. The little opener that could! Leftie approved.
The handle of this opener is plastic but the parts that handle the actual bottles/jars is metal. This is not heavy and pretty easy to use. For reference, I have several openers that are for different bottle sizes but those are plastic and bigger in size than this one. This one you can easily add to your bag if you are going out and it will take up minimal space. This opener opens jars of various sizes by having a lever that comes out of the handle and adjusts to the size of your jar. The pics show people opening it by turning the jar but this works just as well turning the device. I say this because if you have limited hand mobility there’s a difference between the two methods. This also opens soda pop and mineral water bottles AS WELL AS POPPING THE TAB OF A SODA CAN. I put that in all caps because I lost plenty of nails doing just that. There’s a small lip on the opener that wraps around the tab and you can then open it every easily. Price at the time of this review is 11.50 USD which is very good for the product.

Actually works
This product is a little rough around the edges. Literally. The part that clamps onto lids needs to be sanded down a little due to jagged edges. The part that extends out of the handle will pinch your finger if you're not careful. However, this thing works shockingly well. I've used it to crack a number of lids as well as using the extended clamp to grab a lid and twist it off. This is a great little piece of equipment for my kitchen.

Great but leave a mark on the jar
This Chef'n Multi-Size jar Opener is great. I have wrist issues, so opening jars can be incredibly difficult at times. I like that I'm able to open up various sizes, and it's pretty easy to use. My main issue is the fact that it leaves a mark on the jars. It would have been nice if there was some silicone or rubber to help protect the jar from the jar opener.

Open jars. Amazon would not refund or let me return item. They emailed me and said to the manufacturer.

Grandma approved!
Got this kitchen tool for my grandma who’s in her mid 80’s. Showed her once how to use it, she tried it then became ecstatically happy! She no longer has to wait until I get home to help her open jars :) very easy to use and does not take up much space. It also has the option to pull tabs open like from soda cans. The tension gets a bit tight the more it extends out so be careful when you have to release as you have to pull it out even more
