Great OEM alternative

When I was battling an algae bloom in my pool early summer, I ended up picking up this Pleatco brand filter to use as a backup as I needed to take a few days to deep clean my Hayward filter. This filter works great! I used this filter the remainder of the pool season and never had another water quality issue again!

Best cartridge filter I’ve found

This is by far the best cartridge filter I’ve found. It clean up green water very quickly. The first two days I usually swap out the filters every 4 hours. By day three it’s crystal clear. I use high pressure to hose them off and if they’re really bad I soak them overnight in water with TSP. Love these filters.
