Decent for the money

I bought 4 of these houses for my property to attract more birds. They feel sturdy and well made, but one of the houses separated from the room in the first week after hanging. The roof was still suspended in the tree, but the house itself was on the ground. I purchased some small ring-shank nails and it's been fine for several weeks now. Manufacturer would be well served to make this switch themselves. They have a door that pivots to make cleaning easy and they should last for years.

New home for little wren

I bought two of these houses for a little wren that nests with me every summer. Her old house was really old and falling apart. One of the houses came as advertised, with a hinge to open the side for cleaning after her babies have fledged. The other house does not. A bit confusing, so that’s why I gave a one star for easy to clean. Other than that, love the galvanized roof and cedar wood. Excited to see her new babies this year!

Buy it!

This is very well made, beautifully fitted, durable birdhouse which I expect to last for long time. Very easy to clean, too. The only thing I added on to it is a little “threshold” in front of the entrance opening by attaching a long screw so the birds can land on it before getting in. I was looking for the wren birdhouse with the smallest possible opening so wrens can get in but sparrows can’t. Fits the purpose very well.

Very cute

Sweet little bird house looks very pretty hanging in a tree. Wrens and chickadees have paid no attention to it. I have three different nest boxes, but none of them scored with the birds. I'm so sad.

A lovely little home to our little birds!

What a sweet new home for these little wrens! Good quality, easy to clean and it looks nice hanging from our tree. We are planning to order more. These wren houses make lovely gifts for bird lovers!
