Great solution for wood and glass frames to cover louvers in a carriage house.

These worked great to add a squaring adjustment to a wood and glass door frame to cover a set of louvers in a carriage house. The frames were made of wood and had 1/4" glass installed. The design required a small narrow wood frame around the perimeter. This caused a slight pull on the frame's squareness. Thankfully, these 43" turnbuckles were the solution to keep them square for ease of opening and closing. The adjustments required were minimal, and they look great. Accompanying screws are Phillips 3/4".

A good idea, BUT...

I have a sagging screen door on my cottage. I bought this product. It installed and adjusted easily enough, but when it took on the weight of the door, which is very light, the threading in the turnbuckle stripped and the thing fell apart.
