Great information and simple installation
As advertised this unit will give you great information on consumption as well as state of charge. It does only show voltage on the second battery rather than state of charge. Great for getting a better understanding of actual device power consumption as well as potential power “leaks”.

This is the one you want
This unit gives me exactly what I wanted: %SOC, amps, A-hrs, etc. tells me exactly what’s going on. Very easy to use, understand, and configure. And my marine electrician tells me it’s got the more sophisticated algorithm, so the accuracy is better and the unit will last longer than cheaper models.

Good replacement for old link pro but difficult to install and not as easy to do a quick read
The system was not easy to install and required someone to have past experience or working knowledge of electrical install methodology and a good working knowledge of your system overall and in general. I have a typical cruising golf cart trojan four battery bank system. Knowing where and what to connect to is imperative. The directions do not help you with this type of battery system. The connection kit that is separate did have better install directions and was helpful. I am sure if you do this all the time it is not difficult. The last one I installed was fourteen years ago on the same boat. Even then it took some real planning, mapping and normal attention to detail install application. Once installed I found the display to be smaller and less visual then the older link pro version which had four lights or bars for both main and starter batteries for a quick read. Setting the visual component aside the system serves its intended purpose for battery monitoring and works quite fine. Get a professional who has installed this unit several times or plan on taking your time and spend the day and you well get it right.

Shows lithium battery SOC and can trigger an AGS
I bought because I needed a battery monitor for my lithium batteries in my motorhome. I bought this one because it can trigger my Auto Generator Start when the batteries SOC gets to low. It measures the current in and out to know the SOC. I also have a Xantrex inverter/charger and AGS. I have installed and worked good in tests. Need to use more to see how accurate it is.

Love It!
I installed the LinkPro about a month ago and so far I have nothing but good things to say about it. Installation was not difficult though a little understanding of 12 volt systems will definitely help. The instructions have all the information you need but it's not laid out very well so spend some time studying the schematics before you start. The LinkPro comes with everything you need except the wire. They offer a wire harness online but you don't need it. I bought a spool of 16 gauge wire and used that. The LinkPro makes it very easy to scroll through all the different information it provides about your batteries. Just by clicking the left or right arrow you can scroll through voltage, amps coming in or going out, amp hours left on batteries and how full your batteries are. Right now, I am very pleased with this device.

Great Instrument
I live on the hook, so managing my battery banks is very important. The LinkPRO provides all the information I need to accomplish this. I highly recommend the LinkPRO. I had previously installed the Xantrex Link 20 Battery Monitor and was very happy with it. However, I moved the location of the monitor and somehow during the move damaged it. So, I ordered the New Xantrex LinkPRO Battery Monitor to replace the Link 20. I found that wiring the LinkPRO to be easier than wiring the Link 20. A screwdriver even comes with the unit to make hooking up the wires simpler -- a problem I had with the Link 20. I, also, like the reduced size and the LinkPRO being round instead of rectangular. This makes it easier to install in a panel. I found it important to synchronize the gauge by bringing the main bank of batteries to full charge.

Xantrex is the only product I trust
work very well love it... Xantrex is a fantastic product also great costumer service. great support. if you have a question call them dont guess they will take the time to walk you trough installation and trouble shooting. If they make a product that I need I will always buy first Xantrex. I own a 45 foot catamaran. and have 2 battery bank for my hybrid boat! I do only buy xantrex battery charger ... inverter, monitor. Great worth the money!
Relatively easy to install. Of course this depends on your application. The product is well worth the money as it may save you from having an unexpected dead battery or having to replace the batteries sooner than would be needed. It is easy to read and easy to program. You do need the connection kit to be able to wire it in. It has saved me fuel money by not having to run the generator as often and I have learn that this saves the deep cycle batteries as well. In my opinion these should be part of the standard setup on any outdoor /battery / generator system.
