Great noise and volume for a portable white noise machine
I’ve been using white noise to help my littles sleep better for years. Usually we go on a long road trip or when staying away from home, I regret not having something. And I then i wonder why I still haven’t remembered to purchase something for the car. But for our trip at Christmas time this year, I remembered and purchased this from Amazon. I’ve used it in 3 ways so far: 1.) Early morning driving - after loading the sleeping little ones into the truck at 5am, I wanted to give some white noise in the hopes they could sleep even just 1 hour. It did work well. They didn’t sleep more than an hour but that was more about it starting to get light again. 2.) Late night driving - when nerves were fried from a long road trip with a few more hours to go….but no one would go to sleep. The white noise seemed to dull everyone into a state of rest or at least some quiet. 3.) To use at the bedside while staying in the rental vacation home. I could have packed the big one we use back at our house, but it was nice to save some room and use this. Even my pickiest little one who is extra sensitive found it loud enough to help him sleep. Substituted beautifully. What I like about this portable white noise machine: 1.) Easily charges 2.) Small and light weight enough to keep in the pocket of my purse, if I want it accessible for a car ride 3.) Easily packs in a bag and doesn’t take up the room the traditional white noise machine needs 4.) Lasts through the night on a charge without having to be plugged in 5.) It’s cute! Which shouldn’t matter too much….. but it does. It’s aesthetically nice! 6.) And VERY important - it has enough volume to actually noise block. Cons: The ability to adjust the volume could be a little easier.

This is my top suggestion for a baby shower gift!
Unlike any other sound machine I've used! The sound quality is unmatched, the volume is great, & it holds a charge for 10hrs. We use this for every nap, car rides, out & about, you name it. My daughter will almost instantly fall asleep whenever we turn it on. Seriously love this machine more than our Hatch & the other portable sound machines. 100% recommend this.

Overall very good
The good: can get very loud, and the sound quality is very good. The bad: Not very many different sounds, rechargeable, a little heavy (weights about as much as a cell phone). I tried a couple of others and returned them. I'm keeping this one. I wish it accepted regular replaceable batteries because as we all know, rechargeable devices usually end up in the trash after their batteries die in a couple of years. That said, the build quality is great, the sound quality is great, and the only other thing that would make this better are a few more different sounds. There seem to be maybe half a dozen fan/white/pink/brown noise sounds, as well as a beach and babbling brook. I wish there were more sounds that varied, like birds. My use is to drown out background noise while traveling and the "color" noises are fine up to a point, but I find they don't help as much when trying to muffle elevator dings or door slams. Still, this is the one I decided to keep and so I'm going to give it a try.

Great for travel - but I went with another version
First off, this device is excellent for a travel noise machine. It is sturdy, compact & cones with the very smartly designed/integrated stand/hanger/case. Closing the case prevents accidental button pressing while packed in luggage. The only reason I didn’t give this one 5 stars was the speaker sound quality was good but not great. That being said, most people would never notice and be perfectly happy but I also purchased the Yogasleep Travelcube at the same time for comparison. The Travelcube has a more hi fidelity sound which I liked better. Also, the surf sound on the Travelcube seemed much more pleasant. While the Travelcube has fewer sounds than the Go model, I really only use 2 anyway (Surf & DOHM). The Go is excellent and the format/stand/design is a huge plus. If it sounded as good as the Travelcube, it would have been my first choice.

Big sound, small size
I’ve been using an electric sound machine for years, as I hear every little noise and wake up. I normally pack my bulky machine for travel-even in my carry on bc I can’t live without it! Those apps on your phone don’t cut it. But…this teeny guy is wonderful! Big sound and small size makes traveling much easier. Only knock is the volume controls are kinda awkward—just be sure and hold the button down to adjust volume, or you’ll switch your sound.

Very compact!
Not sure how it would aid sleep if the water feature if played, but a very compact unit with a small range of sound. Can choose the white sound or similar options. Although there is no actual volume control the sound level can be altered by moving the unit nearer or further away.

GOOD FOR TRAVELLING
I use it for travelling, mostly. Its internal battery lasts for around 48 hours, consecutively, which I've checked. The only negative aspect is that it doesn't come with regular batteries, or possibility to charge with electricity, but only with an usb charger.
