Good Price & Functions
Bought this to replace another Casio watch that my husband lost. He likes Casio because you don’t have to pay much to get a watch that keeps good time, and seems to last forever. He also likes and uses the timer function when he is refereeing soccer. Nothing to complain about.

Stupid light, complicated interface
Back in the 1980s, all digital watches came with little lights on the side that illuminated half the screen. Then, Timex came out with Indiglo, and it was a pretty blue light that lit the whole watch! It was amazing. Thereafter, all the illuminated watches used the backlighting, now even the cheap knockoffs. But, no! Not Casio! They doggedly kept to the little side light. It's gotten a little brighter, but it still is focused on part of the screen, creating a lot of glare against the glass. The description says "EL backlight with Afterglow". I assumed/hoped this meant that the whole watch was brightly lit from the back, not a side light. (I also thought EL might have something to do with EL wire or EL paper, both of which have pretty glows). Sadly, it was not. The light is somewhat brighter than I've seen before, but I'd still prefer the full backlighting. Also, it doesn't stay on while you hold it down. After 1 second, it turns off automatically and you have to push the button again. Other than that, the watch is fine. I can change the time, use the stopwatch and timer. I had to look in the manual to find the 4 additional alarms; the interface isn't very intuitive. (The upper right button seems to be labeled "autorepeat", but really only controls the light). There are a bunch of indicators on the face of the watch - I haven't figured out what all of them mean yet. In addition to the seconds listed next to the time, there's also a bar that fills up every 10 seconds. I believe the circle in the upper left shows which of the 5 alarms are on. There's a place that shows whether the first alarm is in snooze mode (it's the only one that can snooze). There's also a repeat cycle, which I assume is for the timer and/or stopwatch. I have no idea what "SIG" represents. So, there's plenty to entertain yourself by trying to figure it out. This is going to be my camping watch, so I don't need it to be amazing. For $13, it's pretty good, aside from the stupid light.

It arrived ahead of schedule.
This is the fourth watch of this stle I've purchased. Everything is fine, but there still is a problem with the bands breaking after about 18 months. I know I'm not the only one to comment on this problem. Cascio should really improve on this.

It's OK
Got this watch wanting to simplify (don't need a huge database or calculator cuz I have a cell ph)...get a cheap watch that is water resistant, but still had the features I needed. It's a smaller watch than I expected, consistent with some of the other reviews I've looked at. At 52, I'm also getting more vision challenged--now having to wear "readers" (those granny glasses that magnify the small print.) The indication on the watch for the alarm setting/snooze setting is getting hard to notice without glasses. Then, to set the snooze alarm, you have to push the alarm "arm" button an extra time. This is a bit of a pain since I rely on this snooze alarm to be on time for things, and I have forgotten that extra button push. (Previous watch had default snooze.) I'm not a fan of the feature that when you reset a time (timer, time, alarm, etc) you can only do so in the up direction. If you overshoot your hour time, for example, you have to continue thru 24 hours to get it again. One minor feature I don't like: when you set the alarm, you would think that a single button push would return you to the normal time display. Nope. You have to push the mode button 4 times to return to normal time. There is also no daylight savings quick reset feature. I'm also a military time guy, so I use the 24 hour clock setting a lot. Unfortunately, you select this mode by hitting the lower right button. This is very easy and fine...except, if it is in the morning (before noon), you can switch out of the military time mode by accident. Then, when you set the alarm, wanting 6a, you set the alarm to read 6:00. Well, the only way to tell it is 6:00PM is a tiny little "p" display--which, I have missed cuz I didn't have cheaters on. I thought the alarm would go off at 6:00 am, and it doesn't go off and I miss something (turns out, I was out of military mode and it's set for 6:00 pm. Doh! Most annoying feature: you can't turn off the damn beep with every button push! Another minor point for most, but something I'd prefer to disable when I change settings in a quiet, public place. Overall, a simple, OK watch.

Good price, great features
I got one of these back in 2015 and it took quite a beating on the ship I was on (I'm a merchant mariner). Anyways over the course of a few more ships and finally swimming it finally gave out on me with the seal and got water in it. Don't go in the water with this watch. I also replaced the band. However, it was very useful to me because of the 5 alarm settings and the chime at the top of the hour. I really need a watch with those two settings. The chime is louder than other new Casio's I found. It's got a small watch face that won't be noticeable too. The only thing it's missing is world time, but there are other Casios that have these same features and do, but the hourly chime is not as loud.

Great Value for what I paid.
I like the fact that it has a downward timer and 2 time zones. No fooling around with daylight saving and back again. I hope it is durable. It has many features including 5 alarms which I will never use -- but I can see others finding that handy. It is easily set and the directions are easily followed. Best of all, I ordered it on November first. It was here yesterday which was Nov 3. I live in a small community of 700. I don't know how Amazon got the watch here so quickly. Thank you.

VERY SMALL WATCH. Best for tweens, women, small men, and people with very narrow wrists
I'm sure it's a decent watch, but I was surprised by the tiny size. I'm not a man with large wrists--not even close. I've had many (a dozen?) Casio watches and I've never thought one was too small. This one seems more like a child's watch or maybe a woman's watch.

Not perfectly timed!
Although this watch serves its' purpose, precise chronology is not one of virtues. I purchased mine March 18th, and here at Oct 2 it runs 1:28 seconds fast compared to the UTC synchronized source (cell phone and computer sourced by NIST. Other than that it works just fine. edit: for clarity, that is: 88 seconds (1 minute and 28 seconds) faster than NIST when I set it up March 18, 2022

It's a good watch
I would have given it four and a half stars if I could. The two things i dislike is the circle on the dial for setting the alarm. Also the band seems stiff. Nonetheless it is a good watch, accurate so far and a great price for the brand.

very good condition, but I had better
very good condition, but I had better, but the five alarm setting I love, since at work I got to tell every body it time for break and some time it go by so fast :) easy to configure to your liking, as for setting the time they could of make it easyer to tune the time, you only have to use one button to set it up with, like it go up but if you pass your time you want you got to go all the way around again, be side that it all good. have fun shopping, and have a nice day/night
