Comfortable

I'm in love with the comfort of these shoes. I love the textured sole. It's like having a massage on my feet every time I walk. Plus, these have a nice texture on the bottom that make them great for walking outdoors. I would give the comfort aspect of these a 5 star rating. The fabric on these is stretchy and comfortable as well. There is no "breaking in" time with these shoes. The first time I wore them was several hours, running errands and walking quite a bit. I had no problems with the fabric rubbing and my feet never got sore. As for fit, I usually wear a size 8. They fit fine. However, I do have a little toe room which I don't mind but if you're in between sizes, I would suggest going with the smaller end of it and not the bigger. I would not suggest ordering a size down if you are solidly one size, only if you are in between. The look of these is more like a slipper and these are okay on the visual aspect. I would only drop them a 1/2 star rating for this but that is not an option. However, that is the reason I'm giving these a 4 star instead of a 5 star. The look doesn't really bother me as I go for comfort anyway. However, the fabric look and feel is a tad different than what I expected it would be. I would order the Acorn brand again. the quality and comfort are worth the price.

Great for tubing and hiking

I normally wear a 7.5 but went up to an 8 for these and they were a great fit. When I say these were comfortable that is such an understatement. I've worn these hiking, tubing and just general wear and I literally have ZERO complaints. The top if the shoe is a stretchy material that is soft and comfortable on your feet. I was thrown off on how the inside of the sole of the shoe looked and my honest first impression was that there was no way these would be comfortable and boy was I wrong. My feet felt so comfortable and even after a long hike my feet felt fine. When wearing them tubing they felt secure on my feet and gave extra protection from the sharp rocks below. They drained fairly quickly after being in a river all day. I may have to buy a pair in every color. I can not recommend enough!

Very comfortable but clunky looking

I'm very impressed with how comfortable these sandals are. The flexible rubber soles have a wavy pattern that massages your feet as you walk. The cloth toe and sides do not rub or chafe anywhere. However, I don't feel that they look good enough for for wearing anywhere but the house and yard. The design isn't flattering and the toggle closure really sticks out oddly on the top of the sandals.

Should last for miles and miles!

I've got this Casco Sandal in a men's size, and I've walked miles on and off pavement. I don't see any difference between the larger model and this one designed for women. It's comfortable, has ample room for your toes, and has an sole that works on many substrates. I've even used mine in water. The pebbly sole takes some getting used to, but you do get used to it!

Since half sizes aren't available I got these in a size 8 even though I wear an 8.5. These fit me perfectly as they have a good amount of stretch and the soles are long enough. I am glad I sized down instead of up as I think the 9 would have been too loose and too long. I love these shoes. I have these and another pair of sandals from Acorn, and they are the most comfortable shoes that I have. Before Payless Shoes went out of business, I had a favorite sandal that I would just go in and buy the same thing of every year. I have been hunting for a sandal that I liked as much as those for years now and am happy to finally have found a brand of sandals that I genuinely love. As long as they aren't discontinued, I will be buying a pair of these every year or two (or however long they wind up lasting me). These are comfy and I can wear them all day. The soles are textured and feel nice on my feet. The fabric is stretchy and doesn't irritate my skin. I'm ecstatic about these, and I am VERY picky about my sandals. I love that there isn't a piece of fabric or plastic in between my toes and I like how well the shoe stays put on my foot. 5 stars

Really comfortable and nice looking too!

These are easy to put on (old lady here), comfortable and nice-looking. They're nice to walk in, whether on lawn or pavement with good tread and some support. Really a good deal!

Very comfortable

I received the Acorn Women's Everywear Casco Sandal, lightweight with a cushioned footbed and a soft knit fabric in exchange for this review. LOVE these sandals. I often want to be able to wear footwear that is cool, lightweight, and lets the breeze through but I don't want my toes exposed to have a bit of protection, like when I am driving. These shoes fit the bill perfectly. The stretchy, open-sided fabric design moves with my feet and keeps them feeling cool and comfortable even on super hot days. Meanwhile, the closed toes design in the front prevents my toes from inadvertent boo-boos when going about the day.
