Good grip

This dumbbell is a good size for women’s just getting started with working out. I prefer this material to metal ones because the grip is better, especially for smaller hands. I stepped on the scale with and without the weight and it does indeed appear to be the advertised weight.

Wonderful Weight

If you need a little more challenge with your dumbbell size, upsizing from a 10 lb. weight, this 12 lb. dumbbell will do the trick. It arrived double-boxed and in perfect condition. Nice color, easy to hold and perfect for people who aren’t ready to lift a 15 pounder quite yet. It comes with one weight- not a set and is nicely priced. I personally only need a single weight because I switch it back and forth with the exercise therapy I’m doing to strengthen my shoulders.

3lb. weights are a good weight to start weight training with.

I was not able to find 3# weights in stores anywhere. But I was able to find them online. I am just starting to lift weights as a 68 y.o. woman, so #3 lbs is a good weight to start with.
