Skanky mold and mildew remover

If you own and run a whole house humidifier, you need to regularly check and replace your filter. This product is super for keeping your house and family comfortable and safe from dust, mold and allergens found in the water supply. Also, great for eliminating static electricity and getting zapped all the time.

My go to replacement

I tried a few other brands but this is my favorite one. It is cheaper here through Amazon compared to the big box stores. Also, this filter lasted longer than the other brands.

Works with my Honeywell H220A but had to trim

Had to trim 3.5" off the filter but works just fine. I have a Honeywell 220A so thought these fit across the board on the 200 series. Not a huge deal just cut off the extra with a utility knife and straight edge. Width of pad is identical as is the design.

Not quite like the original Aprilaire 35, but close

The Honeywell basic humidifier pad is a paper lattice with some aluminum integrated into it. The original Aprilaire pad was an aluminum lattice with a clay coating. The Honeywell was a little thinner, but the height and width were correct. Maybe it will swell when wet and get thicker. I don't know if there will be a functional difference... Will wait to see. When I removed the original it had no mold, just a mineral buildup after a season. The price difference is maybe 30 percent less for the basic Honeywell. Might be worth it if you change it often.

Easy to install. Fits perfect.

First time installation and it was simple with instructions. Kept the box to put the old one in since it was pretty crusty. Took about 5 minutes.

Great quality

I've replaced the original filter with this one and what a difference. The humidity stays at 40 and the humidifier doesn't even run all the time. With the original I couldn't get to 37. I'm using one for the whole winter.
