Great Card Game for Young Kids

Kids love it

This is great for kids who love cards. Just like uno, but with different animals on the numbers so that kids who can’t read can still play. Cards are small for smaller hands.

Kids loved it, but would buy regular Uno next time

The kids really enjoyed this, but it contains about half the cards of a regular Uno game. Perhaps for really little ones these would help because they could look for the Lion or other character, but my 4 yr old knows her numbers so we could have just a much fun with Uno.

Both 2 and 5 year olds love it.

My 5 year old has been getting into board and card games, and little brother desperately wants to be involved. This game is perfect for them because the 5 year old can play the full version and really get into it, while the 2 year old can understand some of the basics and play a simplified version while practicing colors and numbers. Sometimes the 2 year old just like collecting the different animals which works too! The only downside is that the box isn't great for storage, so we need to find a way to not lose the cards.

Fun for all ages!

I bought 2 decks for my nephew's 3rd birthday in late September. Just played with him today and had a lot of fun. He was able to play his own hand, with reminders to find a matching card. We played 3 games and he legitimately won 2. It was his first time playing with more than 2 players, so he had a hard time remembering to wait his turn. To increase the life of the cards, my sister is going to laminate them. He loves to play uno, which means I will get someone to play with me at family gatherings. Next game to get will be Skip-Bo, once he gets the concept of taking turns!

Loved the characters on the cards

My 4 year old grandson wants to play cards with his older cousins but it too small to handle the cards of older children. We love the little animal characters on the cards and he can easily identify them and follow along. We make sure we play the easier version whose instructions come with the cards. These cards include instructions for various age appropriate games. He feels great about playing with the older girls and gets all excited that he can sometimes win. I will be buying a couple more sets to give to the other households. Very clever little cards! Love them!

Great little game

Got this as a stocking filler for my 4 year old. Wasn’t sure if he would be able to play or not. But he managed it and we had great fun playing the simplistic version from the instructions. The cards have a normal paper playing card feel with nice colours and pictures to help play. The instructions give different difficulties depending on age/ability which is well thought out. As they are paper/card then with little kids I can’t imagine them lasting a long time. But for the price this is fine and is good value for a fun family time together.

Hours of fun

Got these to teach my 4 year old how to play Uno. The animals make the game easier for little ones to follow and helped my son pick up the rules quickly. We have spent hours and hours playing this as a family and took them on a month long foreign trip we did and they are still in one piece. Brilliant.

Love this game

This is so much fun and brilliant for children. I'm not so sure that a 3 year old would enjoy it, but certainly 5 year old and above would love it. We play it as a family and thoroughly enjoy it.

Revamped Classic aimed at younger audience

Purchased as a little gift for my 6 yr old when i realised he had not played UNO before. I've always loved UNO and regard it as a classic that doesnt seem to get old. Very simple but engaging and fun card game that always creates an exciting and competitive atmosphere. If you've never played UNO before then i'd describe it as an advanced game of snap with several twists. The rules are simple enough for people of all ages to understand but complex enough to provide a decent game. Its always amazed me how strategic things end up getting for a simple game but it provides enough layers to really get into. Best played with 3 or more players but still fun even with just 2. This set is aimed at a younger audience and what separates it from the standard game is the addition of bright and colourful animal pics on the cards. Whilst these look great and are good for the kids, I have to admit to feeling a little cheated when we actually received the pack. Its labelled as a new way to match cards and whilst this is kind of true and adds another element for younger players to pick up on, its actually no different to just matching on number, as the numbers and animal pics align directly. This is very minor though and doesnt detract from the quality of the original game or the new fresh look of this pack. All in all, a great game thats fun and entertaining for just about everyone. You get enough cards in this pack for up to a 4 player game and it can be combined with standard or others UNO packs for a larger group too.
