Just like expensive ones for half the cost

I got these because of price and they are loops for holding gear on motorcycle Can't tell the difference from namebrand . I love these straps, I bought multiple packages

These Amazon Basics elastic straps look very similar to the more-expensive name brand straps. They have lower strength ratings (can't remember the comparison), but they're more than sufficient to sinch down my backpack, duffle, and/or grocery bags when I've topped off my panniers. Bought this last pair of "packaging already open" Amazon Basics straps for $6 (no idea how much they were new in pristine packaging), and, even though I can't buy more of them (still not available), I'm happy to have found this one-off deal on this pair to augment my inventory of handy-dandy straps that invariably find a use with all the "schtuff" I lug around.

Great straps

I bought these to strap luggage to my motorcycle, which works very well. Our family also has a carrier rack with a waterproof bag that attaches to the hitch on our SUV. These straps also worked perfectly to secure the waterproof bag. The clips are sturdy, the nylon straps are strong the the elastic straps are sturdy and maintain their resistance. This was a solid purchase.

Great straps

Very nice quality straps. I'm using them on a motorcycle and they're perfect. I'm not sure how they will hold up in the long term, as it is elastic after all. However, I have hopes due to the good quality.

Works great but not exactly what I wanted.

So right out of the box I was a little disappointed but, BUT. I realized it would do what I need it to do. I expected a 18" - 60" completely stretchy strap. Only 8" is stretchy. The longer part is just a 1" wide nylon strap with a clip and the loop to fasten it to whatever. The stretchy end (about 8") honestly doesn't stretch very far but I think it's more for relief on the clip than anything. So will it hold my sleeping bag & tent on my bike? Yup. 100% satisfied.

Reliable and secure so far.

Good: The elastic portion of the straps seems robust and has held all sorts of shape, size, and mass objects very well. Bad: Well, it isn't bad yet but this is a point of concern. The buckles ought to be a bit sturdier. I'm not fully confident they'll stand the test of time. I am treating them gently but won't be surprised if one or more cracks. Great: Unlike the brand-name version of these straps, these are made in Taiwan (ROC), not China (PRC)! Kudos for Amazon sourcing product from non-enslaving regimes for a change. Would definitely buy again. In fact, I may have already convinced myself to purchase a back-up set.

Durable, cheap, and gets the job done.

Got these after my rok straps were damaged from years of abuse. These straps have worked perfectly and survived a 4,000 mile road trip through hot, rainy, and even frigid conditions. Easy to use and looks like they are built to last. Right now I think the only thing that could break these would be user error.
