Compact counter top space saver

I live in a household with 3 cooks and a rather small galley kitchen w/ very limited counter top space. This stand immediately opened up another work space on the counter top while allowing the cookbook to be kept close to the stove. It folds up nicely, flat, and we store it with the cutting boards. However its narrow profile, which is great for storage, means that the page feet only work with slimmer cookbooks. But we solve that problem by using binder clips to keep pages open on thicker cookbooks. This is the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. Overall happy with its quality, flexibility and mobility.

Great stand, sturdy and light

I use this to hold flyers at conferences, so I wanted something sturdy and light to ship/carry. It's perfect.

Does not hold regular size hardbacks well.

Aesthetically pleasing, but the ledge for holding the book and the movable pegs for holding the pages only serve for holding a larger format paperback open in the middle. Trying to read Beginning and ending pages causes book to fall off. Will try to retro-engineer washers on the screws holding the pegs to provide more room for the book.

A bit large, but serves the purpose

I bought two of these, one for me and one for my wife, the product is a bit too wide for a Ipad, but it serves the purpose, it is light and easy to use, I recommend it

For Zoom and Study

The pandemic has altered the way I engage in two of my favorite activities: continuing education through my local community college, and reading my poetry to others. The former had, in past years, taken me to the nearby campus, the latter to various sites where folks gather to share their creative work: a bookstore, an ale house, a coffee house, and so forth. Now that I have to be socially distanced in my home office, my Greenco book stand had become indispensable. It nicely positions my textbooks when I'm either in class or typing up my homework on my computer, and also positions my poetry when I'm reading it over my webcam to the many local, national, and international open mics which have cropped up. It's easy to stash the Greenco under my computer desk when I don't need it, and equally easy for me to set it up on the desk quickly. Other favorable design elements include the tongue-and-groove which allows for different angles of display, and the two fold-down tongues on the bottom front edge which can be folded up to keep the book open at a chosen page. Unlike many book stands, the Greenco is see-through, so that it won't block your vision of other items on your desk. And the natural wood is quite attractive.

Sturdy and folds up nicely

This stand is sturdy and holds my cookbooks well, except that thicker cookbooks don't fit super well on it. If you're looking at a recipe at the back of the book, the thicker set of pages doesn't always fit behind the piece that holds the pages back. Overall, it's a nice stand.

Printed books or Kindle this props both

It has a place to stand up The Betty Crocker 3 ring Cookbook or tablet and even my cell to keep off counter, away from sink or splatter. on counter for easy to see propped pages in print or on screen. Folds down flat as a level surface for oversized platters or baskets. I even keep my phone and tablet on each side to keep down fly away printed pages...
