Lo califico con 3 estrellas porque el producto vino con unos rayones en la parte de la rueda de control de temperatura, además cuando se abre la parte del metal no está uniforme, pareciera que lo hubieran cortado mal y lo ensamblaron de esa manera, pero de resto todo funciona.

Reminds me of my Oster machine

This is as close, if not the same, as the Oster arepera I had years ago before it broke down. The previous arepera I had wouldn’t toast the outside very well, and leave it soft instead. This one leaves a nice crunchy outside which I’m happy with

Crispy and perfectly sized Arepas

As a good Venezuelan I prepare arepas every day. The size of the arepas is perfect (3.5 "in diameter and 0.5" high). To achieve crispy arepas I recommend: 1) Preheat the Arepa Maker, 2) Remove the excess from the dough, and 3) Open the Arepa Maket halfway through cooking to expel the steam. The arepas are very similar to those make in the Tosty Arepa Oster.

I ordered one and it looks great! It's a nice silver color

I ordered one and it looks great! It's a nice silver color. however, the button for the timer didn't work and we had to return it. We bought a 2nd one and same exact problem. Decided to keep it because it's the perfect size for arepas and it's working fine except for that timer - we just check on the arepas to see if they are done or not. We've had bad luck with other brand arepa makers because they break down within the 2 years. If this one breaks down, I'll come back to revise the review.

Very convenient and easy to use

Like size of arepas and easy to use and clean. 2 cups of water, harina pan and sal and you have 6 arepas. It takes longer, like 20 minutes for arepas to be crunchy but you don’t need to worry about your arepas, they will be perfect both sides. I also make eggs.

Saves you time

I bought it use as new and it has been working perfect. I leave the Arepas around 40 min because we like it them crispy but 30-35 min is good enough. I flip the Arepas in the middle of the time because the side that is in the bottom is always more fluffy than the top. The taste it is a bit different when you use the pan but still good, If you are looking to save time in the kitchen this is for you. I am happy with my purchase and saved me a lot of time. Once the time is done I will advise you to remove them do not leave the arepas inside, also it doesn’t come with a timer so make sure you use your own.

Okay now, as a Venezuelan I 100% needed to have this in my house and... let me tell you. I have no complaints - I am pleased with it and very happy since the majority of “tostis” my family bought ended up being garbage. I’ve had mine since July 2020, and have used it at least 4 times a week - you do the math. It works great!
