Great for Nostalgia lovers

Fun little hot dog steamer! Easy to assemble. I used a measuring cup to see how much water was needed. It was just shy of 3 cups of water. The fill line is very hard to see, so less is better. The hot dogs (8) regular bun length size cooked within the 15 minutes I set my timer for. The taste was just like a boiled hot dog. The drawer does allow water/steam to drip out upon removing the dogs, so a paper towel in front helps to catch that. Clean-up of the compartments was super easy, however - the bottom tray that holds the water was a bit more involved. Since the water is still there, I used a ladle and said measuring cup to remove most of the water before carrying to the sink to dump the rest. A Turkey baster might work as well. Once the water was dumped a clean sponge was all that was needed to wipe/clean. It may seem too involved, but was really super easy. Did not used the bun compartment but if you do, only use for a shorter time so you don’t end up with soggy buns. This will work great to use while using the grill for other things. Kids don’t like grilled but love stream/boiled dogs!

Fantastic Way To Bring Back Memories

This steamer is absolutely fabulous! I have used it 3 times, and I rave about it each time... Never thought it would be this great!!!! Will not eat hot dogs any other way!!! GREAT!!!!!

Great Hotdog Cooker, But....

This is a Great Hotdog Cooker. However, I had to take one star off of it because of a durability issue. Now, to be Fair, the durability issue is probably my fault, so I can't completely blame the manufacturer. The issue is that I've had to Buy, three of these in the past three years, but once again, that's probably on me. The fact that I continue to purchase them speaks to the value of the product. My problem is that I prefer to use Vinegar instead of water which can be acidic and cause the heating element to leak. But, you can't beat the taste of the Hotdogs, so, I think it's a fair trade off. But once again, this is a Great Hotdog Cooker and you shouldn't let my problem deter you from buying it. I Still Highly recommend it.

Bigger than I figured

This is larger than I expected, and made of good quality materials. I got this for a fundraiser for our community radio at the markets to raise $$ to keep on air. Tomorrow is it’s debut will update then. However tested it tonight and worked as described!

So I bought this hotdog steamer and tried it out tonight. Man it makes a beauty of a hot dog, perfectly cooked and, the buns were just perfect aswell. 20 minutes for the dogs, put the buns in the top for the last 5 minutes and you got yourself a ball park dog ! Highly recomend, seller was prompt and ontime with delivery

Don’t risk it!

Don’t risk it! Only turned it on and it burnt my kitchen counter and nearly set on fire luckily we was in the kitchen so seen the smoke, got a refund but still have a burnt counter top that won’t be cheap to replace!

Slightly burns the buns

The hot dogs taste great! I find it sometimes burns the outer edges of the bun on the toast but otherwise a great purchase.
