the only problem I had was that you must release the trigger before you stop rotating the spreader handle or you will jam up the spreader blade.

Stiffens my hands after brief use
I usually end up not using the crank for this spreader because is does cause pain in my joints from the weight with melting salt and placement of the handle and crank. I prefer to use it as a bucket rather than a spreader as it was designed, which means I didn't need to buy this product. If you have stiff joints like I do, I recommend a hard pass.

Doesn’t work
Despite having this, I still put the salt in my hand because this thing doesn’t work.

Arrived Broken
Haven't had a chance to test this because the item arrived broken. Everything looks sturdy except for the handle. With that said, I question the durability.

Not adjustable at all
Adjustment knob is not really an adjustment; discharge amount is always same even at lowest settings. If you are spreading to a large area you need to go back to the source couple of times. Holding in one hand when full is not comfortable. I wish they change the design and adapt a shoulder strap + larger volume + real adjustment knob.

Doesn’t work as it says
The hole at the bottom is too small so the salt does not get through. It’s basically worthless. I have to use my hand and throw it using it. So doesn’t work don’t waste your money.

Works awesome not for commercial use
Would work amazing for home use if only using a little. Got it for my store here and it was broken within / days the spinning thing doesn’t spin anymore. Still works great as a scoop. Not to bad but could have survived longer if it was for at home use
