Don't open the cover all the way

Citrus Magic works very well against bad odors. Some people have complained that it smelled bad itself, but I noticed that this only happens if you open the cover all the way. If it's opened about a third of the way it has a clean citrus scent. Over time as the scent is used up open it more, a bit at a time. I have noticed that eventually the scent stops even though the waxy material it's made of isn't used up. The scent started again when I cut into the waxy material with a plastic knife, which I threw away after use. I used Citrus Magic when our family was showing a house for sale, and everyone in the family remarked favorably about it.

Works Well

I have always thought this product was the best out there. It is advertised as an odor absorber, it does that, and very well. The reason for my review is that while I was ordering more, I read through the other reviews. People thought this would be like an atomizer? The orange? did not smell citrusy? The product was too strong, the product was too weak? Give me a break. If you think it is too strong, next time do not pull away all of the seal, or cover it up/reseal half? If it didn't cover up the odor you bought it for, well that odor had to be horrific, try cleaning the area, just a thought. The citrus and linen are the only scents I've tried. Both are excellent, I use the orange in the bath and linen in the closet. If the odor/s it is absorbing aren't horrible, the 20 ozer will last months.

Didn't do much

I was dealing with human urine smells. My 99 year old mother had a cath and the helpers left it open for an afternoon so I had a big mess. I tried all sorts of products including this one. The smells were there even after several treatments but I could not see where this product did a thing to help. Perhaps with less of a problem it might do something but I'm not impressed. I put it in my car when it did nothing for my mother's problem and didn't see where it did much there either. I won't be buying more.

Yikes

At first in my car it smelled like I spilled a jumbo size bucket laundry detergent in it. Once it calmed down after a couple of days, I like it. It doesn't remind me of citrus but I like the smell. I see Amazon does not have the date I bought it in this rating area but I believe I've had it in there about 6 weeks or more and it's still working.

Citrus Magic Solid Odor Absorber, Fresh Citrus, 20-Ounce

This is better than the more recognizable name brands. On this product I can smell the aroma of citrus as I am walking by. On a few other products,some citrus and some not...I could detect no product odor at all no matter what flavor they said it was! I have found that citrus, in general, is one of the best odor blockers/absorbers on the market and I do recommend it highly.
