Well worth the money

This is actually the second Cuisipro 8" whisk I've purchased, and it replaces one bought about eleven years ago. The silicone coating finally started to give way so.... At any rate the new whisk demonstrates the same build quality and durability that the original had, and as long as Cuisipro is in business, I will continue to buy their products for these reasons. I have tried cheaper versions, and believe me when I say there is no comparison. I have found the cheaper version to be sorely lacking in terms of durability as the coating typically fails within the first two weeks. That being said, the Cuisipro whisks may be a tad more expensive, but they are worth the added cost.

Great in non stick pans

I use it in enamel bowls, with eggs, and in nonstick pans. Works great.

Perfect, if you're looking for a small whisk to use in a non-stick pot or pan. Stiff enough to really whisk and gentle enough not to harm the pan. But, it is small. Most people will be happier with the 10" size.

TINY and Expensive

When I read the 8" I made the asumption that was the wisk size not including the handle. Not so. This is a tiny wisk and very expensive.

My favorite whisk

The wire loops are metal with silicone applied to it directly. Very solid / stiff and reliable construction. Some non-stick whisks are all plastic loops which lack strength IMO and others are metal loops with a silicone snood (tube) covering which in my experience wears out quickly and is harder to clean. I love the shape of the handle and that it's stainless steal, personal preference but I really do not like the rubberized handles so many utensils have. I like the 8" version of this for mixing sauces in my small or medium pots. On prime day it went on sale so I bought a second one!

Perfect for non stick saucepan

This whisk is small enough for my non-stick saucepan in that it doesn't overbalance when left resting in it. Perfect for sauces, scrambled eggs etc. I had only been able to find longer non-stick whisks which were unsuitable so am very happy with this purchase.

Silicone wore off after 1 month

We used this whisk for a month. Perhaps 10-20 times in total and already the silicon had worn of the tips of the metal loops. Waste of money. Now investing in a known brand whisk.

Great for whipping up hollandaise sauce

I didn't quite expect it to be as small as it was, but it turned out to be the perfect size to whip up hollandaise sauce for eggs benedict in a small stainless steel pot that we didn't want to scratch. We have a larger whisk for bigger jobs.
