Missing the chest pad.

I'm sure it's fine but mine arrived without the chest pad... which was the only reason I purchased this model. I have two others that are essentially the same but black -- this would have been perfect with the chest pad but now I just have an orange harness that's like my others.

The Dean & Tyler Working Dog Vest (X-Small) is Built to Last! Five Years, and Still Going Strong...

The line of equipment for working dogs, vests, collars, and leashes are some of the best built accessories available. I've owned several items from Dean & Tyler over the past 10-years and it's all going strong. I bought this vest originally about 7-years ago, and after heavy daily use it's just now showing some signs of wear. I saw the company is now on Amazon, selling discounted, and original items, so I went ahead and ordered a new one, and at a 70% discount no less. The vest is rugged, good looking, good fitting and durable. I don't believe this heavily-made vest is usable on anything smaller, or frailer than a Pug, though. No Poms, Toy Poodles, or Pekinese would benefit from the rugged construction. These are designed for working (larger) dogs, after all. PS The handle is great for lifting your pup over escalators, and obstacles. Or if your disabled Capuchin monkey needs a service animal. lol But seriously, this is the best made service equipment available.

Probably good for a large dog.

Even though I ordered a XS for my mini pinscher it was to big and bulky. The closure caused a cut behind his leg. I would not recommend for a small dog.
