Not the quality

Toscano usually has products of great quality and fine detail. This dragon looks like it was painted by a two year old. Underwhelmed.

Great Statue but personally wish it was a little darker.

Many reviews suggested more dark brown than bronze. But the one I received is more bronze than dark brown. Pics compare to Sherlock statue. Shakespeare slightly taller and much lighter toward the bronze. Nevertheless it is hefty and attractive and very detailed. Looks great on my shelf. Sherlock and Shakespeare sit on shelves more than ten feet away from one another. I put them next to each other just for the photos. I really like both but prefer the Sherlock coloring. Ignore any red in the pics - it's a reflection off the red vase to the left of Sherlock!

Fiance loves it

Some parts werent completely covered in but it's in less looked at places on the statue, still extremely cool and my fiance loves it and brags about me getting it for him to his friends, kinda expensive for not having it completely painted but would still buy regardless of knowing that

IT IS NOT METAL BUT IT TOTALLY FOOLS THE EYE! BEAUTIFUL SCULPTURE!

I was looking for some classic statue of Shakespeare that will look stately but without paying the price of an actual metal. This was it. It is really fabulous in person. It really looks like it is metal while it is not. It looks very expensive and the detailing is fantastic. We have it in the library and it inspire you to write, read and learn. I love when kids are exposed to the great minds from the past and Shakespeare is one of the classic writers that works almost everyone enjoys.

Great GIFT!! NICE!

My grandchildren picked this out for their mom who collects dragons. When I pulled it out of the box, it made me gasp. That "rock" that it sits on looks almost life-like, like a nice quartz crystal. The colors are vivid and the detail is sharp. Even its horns isn't stunted, they are quite sharp looking. Total height is roughly about 5-6 inches tall. She promptly made a spot between 2 other sassy-looking "body guard" dragons. To the maker, thank you for making such a lovely item and a great birthday present for my daughter.

Broken

Arrived right before Christmas. The box was smashed to pieces, along with the dragon. What I was able to see of the dragon. It was gorgeous. Definitely, not the seller's fault.

Very Nice Statue

This is a very handsome statue. I like it a lot. It's made of resin, but it has the feel of bronze, which I like. I like the highlights on the item, and I didn't see many (if any) flaws in the finish. I have about a dozen Shakespeare busts and statues. Sometimes his face comes across as weird, skewed, or goofy. This particular representation shows The Bard a little long in the face. However, it's not a displeasing representation. Even though it's not my favorite representation, I'm very pleased with it. Also, it's one of the few full-body representations I could find. Mostly I can only find busts. As a Shakespeare aficionado, I would definitely give this item as a gift, especially in the price range of about $35.

detail looks totally different to the images shown. alot of the black shading missing and badly painted. its the amount charged which has made it 2 stars. not value for money

Bought this for a friend’s birthday, it’s very nice
