Good product
Solid construction, nice contours, decent materials and a simple intuitive interface. One thing that surprised me, but I didn't knock a star off because it's not really that important to me, but may be to you... this scale only either shows pounds OR ounces, but not both at once. For example if your baby weighs 7 lb and 8 oz, the scale will either show you 7.5 lb or 120 oz, but not "7lb 8oz". At first I was a little annoyed at having to do math but then I realized it's a great opportunity to commit some new facts to memory, specifically, this multiplication table: 1oz = 0.0625lb 2oz = 0.125lb 3oz = 0.1875lb 4oz = 0.25lb 5oz = 0.3125lb 6oz = 0.375lb 7oz = 0.4375lb 8oz = 0.5lb 9oz = 0.5625lb 10oz = 0.625lb 11oz = 0.6875lb 12oz = 0.75lb 13oz = 0.8125lb 14oz = 0.875lb 15oz = 0.9375lb 16oz = 1lb Hope this helps!

Perfect scale to weigh an animal!
This is the perfect scale to weigh my cat. I need to do weekly checks and the surface is perfect. Love that it has rubber on the low profile feet so it doesn't scratch the floor as well as stay in place. It reads the weight quickly and the hold button works great if my cat is squirmy, which isn't very often as my cat has taken to laying on it during the day now as it is that comfortable. I highly recommend this scale for pets! You won't be disappointed.

Awesome
We use it for a clinical setting and we love this brand. It's a decent weight, it's sturdy and the design is smooth. The only downside is that our scales need to be sprayed, moved and wiped down after each patient visit. So with this scales moving around so much, we have had two stop working. I am sure that if these didn't need to move, they would last a lot longer than they have. We get about eight months worth of use before it begins to spaz out. And it is STILL our preferred scale in the clinic. We will continue to choose Beurer for the simplicity and accuracy we can depend on!

How to calculate exact weight
I like the scale. Its simple and neat. The only thing is that its not clear about the exact weight. For example, in lbs/ounces it reads 8.3 is that 8lbs and 3 oz or 8.3 lbs? Which is not the same.

It’s a CAT scale!
Trying to help my overweight cat lose weight and have to be sure they don’t lose weight too fast or it’s dangerous for them. This scale is perfect for weighing my cat weekly to track her healthy weight loss. It does require some floor or counter space.

Good for Pets Too!
We don't have any children but use this scale for our cats and small dogs. We try and monitor their weight in case they get sick or just to make sure the pugs aren't chunking out too much. Its easy to read, simple to use and when we compared it to our other scales in the house is accurate.

Very easy to use, and accurate for weighing our kitty
We needed a scale to check the weight for our elderly kitty health issue, and this one was a very good option. It is reasonably priced too!

Easy to use, basic functions
This scale is very easy to use and the tare function is really nice. It's a little bulky to store, and you want to make sure that it's placed on a firm surface (not carpet) to get an accurate weight.

Please mention if its a refurbished or opened product
i have received this product like this. Scale had dust on it and outer box was damaged with tape attached on it. Definitely not satisfied with how it came. I did spend $90 on this so i expect something like a brandnew product. Amazon has to start mentioning if its sealed or opened product. Product wise its accurate, light weight, takes AA betteries, can measure little changes.

Accurate but doesn’t grow
We bought this scale to measure our newborn so that we could bring her upto her birth weight after a week. It helped for about 3 months because after that we noticed that the weight remained static and we were confused if she wasn’t gaining as much. Turns out she outgrew the scale as most of her legs stayed out of the scale.

Close enough
I saw reviews on this (and every other baby scale) being inaccurate. You should expect some discrepancies between products, but it should be minimal. So I tested this scale upon receiving it with my kitchen scale (in oz) and the differences were very minimal. Uploaded pic for other skeptics. **this is not a Blippi advertisement**

Difficult to use
We use it to weigh our diabetic cat and we've noticed 2 issues. The reading on this locks when it senses that the thing you're weighing has stopped moving. Sometimes it clearly locks too quickly and the reading is off. It's not easy keeping the cat still long enough to get the reading and it's impossible to tell if it locked in at the right time. Also, if his body is leaning more to an edge, it reads the weight improperly. He has to be right in the centre and not moving for long enough to get a proper reading...not fun with a cat. I would have preferred if it was a more fluid reading like a standard non-digital scale and just reflected what was on it, so that you could take your time getting the pet on it and not having to worry about whether or not he's in a good position to ensure the weight is in the middle of the scale.
