Slim cool look but poor execution.

Looks cool but there no way to turn them off. The batteries just run out in a couple months. Also the plastic is cheap and damages easily when changing the batteries. Overall it's flimsy. How about one just like this made of metal painted black or white? Not some dull gray. Make it rechargeable or add an off switch. Maybe all three I ordered came with a broken switch. I saw this product at Aquashella in Orlando and thought it was really cool. The thermometer market is lacking in modern aquarium keeping. They didn't have any to sell though? Why?

Off by several degrees.

Not easy to read. But most importantly, it is off by 5°F. My trusty mercury thermometer reads 75°F, which is exactly what my aquarium heater is set to.
