High Quality Disc Golf Basket
Product Looks Great and Holds up in the Weather.

Good outdoor practice basket
Purchased this for practicing putting in the back yard. While the Mach2 baskets have a reputation for not catching disks as well as other models, this works well for me as it forces me to be more precise with my putts. It is sturdy - I have not needed to anchor it to the ground in any way and it is sitting on a typical back yard lawn on a flat location. It is kept outside all the time and I have not purchased a cover for it yet. No rust in 2 months of daily use and regular rain including two of the recent tropical storms that sent a bunch of rain our way. Assembly was quick and reasonably easy for a healthy 50+ year old man though it would have been easy with a one other person helping with alignment. There are bolts and nuts that hold the pieces together. A small wrench that fits the hex nuts, but it went much quicker with the help of a socket wrench. I would recommend this for a more permanent placement versus breaking it down and setting it up constantly. If you need something you want to break down, throw in the trunk, and take on the road or something that you can setup, use, and then break down at the end of the night to bring into the house/shed/garage, unless you're planning to anchor it to a custom-made base with casters on it, I would say look to one of the other more portable baskets. The basket is also a little shorter - 6 to 12 inches - than the baskets on the disc golf courses in the area. I'm going to build a raised base of brick pavers to address that issue. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase - it was everything I hoped it would be plus a little extra in terms of stability, weight, and quality material. I would purchase it again, and would recommend it to family and friends.

Certainly holds up to weather!
I just came back to this product listing thinking about buying a second DGA Mach II for my backyard to make a multi basket course and noticed that I purchased my first one in September 2014. My basket has been sitting outside for just shy of the last 2,500 days. Almost 7 years. And other than the label being faded, it looks like the day I received it. Not a spot of rust or corrosion. It lives outside in my yard in Pennsylvania where it is subjected to 100 degree summer days with baking sun, sub-zero winter nights, driving rain, sleet, ice, snow, and howling winds at various times. Never once has it budged, and not one bit of wear. If you were wondering whether the Mach II can really be a “permanent” basket, I’m pretty confident the answer is yes!

Best Birthday Gift Ever!
My boyfriend LOVED this thing for his birthday. It is his most prized possession now. He putts daily. He's been playing almost 15 years in courses across the country and says this basket is what courses would use. He was all excited because none of his friends have this kind of galvanized basket. He even locks it in my garage at night in case someone tries to steal it from my fenced backyard in a community where I'm related to half the town and we only need a few police officers... This thing is HEAVY... no one is getting away with running down the road with this thing. I just feel bad as all my neighbors hear pretty birds, rustling trees, and now chains all day!!! We assembled in about 30 minutes easily! The box is marked with what is inside but honestly I needed to give it to him early just to get the heavy box inside????????????

Best "real" basket for practice!
I've had my Mach II for about a season now, and I can't say how pleased I am with it. It's very sturdy and it catches pretty well, compared to other cheaper options. While more expensive than some other choices, having used both I can say it's worth the money. Definitely better for one who plans on staying stationary, however - it does not pack down in any way, which is a disadvantage for some. I just leave it in my backyard, and putt beneath my deck in the winter. Feels very close to a real course basket, such as a Mach III which are fairly common (at least in my area). It's drastically helped me improve my game, and I can't recommend it enough.

Great live-outside basket
It was pretty easy to assemble. 18 chains catch the discs very well. It really is great bang for the buck. It's made of galvanized steel (except little hooks and hoops that hold the chains), so you can keep it permanently outside and not worry about corrosion. It's heavy enough to not be wobbled by disc impact, but light enough to drag/roll it across the yard for different placements. I am glad I got it.

What are you waiting for, buy it...
I could write a novel on my love for this basket. It is like having course basket at home, many of the courses around me have these baskets installed. So what better way to practice for those courses in your backyard. My only tip is not to over tighten the bolts, I was too giddy and wasn’t paying attention and snapped one of the bolts from over tightening. After a quick trip to Lowe’s I was all setup. Been hammering judges in it ever since.
