Sciatica

I have to lift quite a bit at work, and my back occasional gets strained. I also get bad sciatica pain everyonce in awhile. All I have to do is wear this to bed and my back feels better by morning. It gives both compression to the spine and support! It's not the most comfortable thing, but it works!

Great for lower back pain

I suffer from chronic low back pain; so I've owned a number of different back support braces over the years. This one isn't the most comfortable one I've ever owned; but it does have the best actual support. The bottom line is that I don't think you'll find any back brace that is both highly supportive and very comfortable. Those two things sort of contradict each other. On this brace, the build in lumbar pillow applies good pressure to support my back. And, since it's fairly rigid, it also helps prevent the brace from rolling. When my back is really aching, that's exactly what I need. On the other hand, if I only want a little light support, I'll stick with my more comfortable all elastic, double-pull back brace.

Nice Product - Comfortable

I haven't had this very long so my review is somewhat limited. On a Saturday afternoon, I was lifting my bed and felt a pop in my lower back. Since I'm waiting for my employer-sponsored health insurance to kick in, I opted out of a visit to the doctor. I ordered this because the other DonJoy braces get high marks. This brace is much cheaper than their similar lower back braces. There is a pad that hit my back lower back in just the right place. The velcro is also pretty secure. If I wanted to wear this under a tshirt, I don't believe anyone would be able to see it. No complaints so far. My back is feeling better but I'm sure I'll need it again soon. I am woman 5'4" and weigh 150lb. 35" waste. I ordered a large and it fits well.

Very good quality and no problems yet!

Very well made product and quality is also very good. I wore for first time and had it for first few hours without any problems. I am hoping it will help with the back pain issues I have. Will update the feedback after few days of using it. But for now the comfort and usability of this belt is very good and I liked the product and recommend it.

Sizes run small

This appears to be capable of delivering good support. I'll write once the proper size is delivered to me. I chose a size that was supposed to easily accommodate my waistline. I can close the straps but not easily and therefore, there is no room to further snug when circumstances require more support. Order a size larger than you think you need.

Excellent support

This back brace gives firm support, and because it is fairly wide, is extremely comfortable even when pulled tight. I can wear it for extended periods without feeling cut in half. Good product.

Initial imprwssions are good! I needwd anpthwr bace to wear aometimwa qhn my backbracefeom otho doc just bothers me. Also, to take a break. Don Joy is a top brand & I feel it is a good choice. Try it.
