A Sleek, chic, warming option for entertaining,
The size and esthetic of this product is PERFECT for an elegant buffet! It’s sleek and attractive and it is excellent at keeping food at the desired temperature. No more cold food! I purchased this item as a gift for my sister who host’s Christmas dinner, yearly, for our growing family. I routinely loan her something similar, that I got as a free gift from a bank, MANY, MANY years ago. The one I have has served me, and many others, who I’ve loaned it to, very well, for a VERY long time. That said, it is not as large or sleek or chic, as this one. My sister LOVED it and IMMEDIATELY set it up for her Christmas buffet. She said, I want a second one!! Please get me the EXACT same thing next year! I want two! That same week, I ordered a second one, to give to her next year. I wanted to make sure that I could get the exact same one. If I had more storage space, I would buy myself one, BUT now I can borrow my sister’s! ???????????? I would definitely recommend this product!! (Side bar: I have read some reviews about the knobs coming off; we haven’t run into that YET. Hopefully if that does happen, we can fix it, but I am hopeful that the manufacturer will correct that problem, because otherwise, this is a really GREAT product).

Bought this for a party - Works great!!
Needed a warmer to keep food warm (and at a safe temperature) for a family gathering. This warmer really does a great job. It is large enough for several dishes, depending on their size. I felt really good that it kept the food at a safe temperature while serving. It looks really good - okay, Fancy - sitting on the counter top, too! It cost a little more than I was looking to spend, but I feel it was a great value and we should be able to use it for a long time.

Potluck friendly
I've used this just once. It's big enough that it held three serving dishes: a platter of ham and 2 casseroles of scalloped potatoes. I'm very pleased with it.

Portable, better than flimsy chafing dishes
I don't write a lot of reviews, but I want to recommend this product for folks like me who serve as hospitality chair in organizations. I am currently feeding 50-75 people in the high school theatre production nearly every night and these are fantastic. I have two. To get them to the school, I wrap them in a beach towel and then to get them home, I simply fold the towel back up over and place them back on my rolling cart. I can then stack boxes of leftovers/crockpots/whatever on top for transport to my car. I usually start them on the top setting to get them hot and then take them down to halfway. That way they are not hot enough to burn any of the teens getting food. I serve the food in those disposable foil dishes and they can slide around a bit on them, but it hasn't been an issue. We always have adults nearby to help keep things straightened and organized. They are easy to clean and SO much sturdier and safer than those flimsy portable chafing dishes. I think we are going to start using these for our PTSO teacher luncheons, too...we have been using those rather flimsy chafing dishes for those.

Works perfectly to keep food warm
When I received this warmer, I was able to plug it in and use it after a few moments of reading instructions. It works perfectly to keep food the perfect temperature for hours. I would have given 5 stars but one must refer yo the instructions to figure out the temperature for each setting (low, med, high). Temperature on the control knob would be helpful. Would buy again, in fact I may need another soon and I would get this one. It looks great and works as described.

I bought 2 of these for Christmas. They kept all my food hot. I am so pleased with this purchase. I also liked the look of them, they were very low profile so it kept my buffet table looking amazing

Great product, good buy
Overall this product is great. I used it for the first time the other day and it really kept the food warm/hot. It even warmed up a pudding that had been in the fridge. There was no need to microwave it. The only reason it got a 4 star is because I feel it could have been better packaged when shipped, it can get damaged easily.

Quite handy
I purchased this item to try and help me keep food warm when multiple dishes come out of the oven at different times and need to be kept warm. I used it for Easter dinner and followed the recommendations of other reviewers and used it on "medium". It kept the casseroles hot though the gravy needed to be reheated quickly (I don't think I had the gravy hot enough when I put it on the warming tray). I would probably set the temperature just slightly higher next time I use it. It would be great if it had a built in food thermistor so it could self regulate based on the temperature of the food but I just used a separate temperature probe and adjusted it myself. I like it a lot and will continue using it. I like the handles and the fact that the temperature knob is on the side with the handles so you could store it upright on its edge.
