Great for Colonoscopy Prep & More!

This was the year I decided to reduce the number of containers I need to drink from when drinking the prep for a colonoscopy. I chose this jug because of its half-gallon quantity, thereby having to make it up only 2x. Also, it came with simple measurements, a detachable straw, 2 non-removable handles (1 on the side for holding while drinking & 1 small circular one on top to lift & tote), & a pop-off lid over its built-in spout. For my narrow purposes, it was a welcomed change from the former practice of mixing 4 containers of prep---ugh! Although closer to 70 than 60 in age, I had no problem with lifting or holding a half-gallon of liquid. I learned to be carefully precise in screwing the lid on properly to ensure it did not leak. When carelessly done, it did leak. Initially, the silicone gasket that sits in the groove on the lid's underside needed to be pressed in securely with my fingernail; after that, it remained snugly in place. I do not put the container or any of its parts into the dishwasher, but rather I hand wash. Upon completion of this year's prep, I had planned to store the jug for the next 2 years when I'll need to prep again. However, an unexpected psychology occurred. Instead of continuing my daily habit of drinking 4 - 6 bottles of water, I simply fill this new 64 oz jug with water in the evening, place it in the fridge, & then sip on it throughout the next day. When a doctor next inquires of me how many glasses of water do I drink each day, instead of a vague estimate, I can accurately answer with "one half-gallon."

Really great purchase for the price

I really do like this water bottle considering it was only like $11 ???? the color is cute, I really like the lock feature, and the handle to carry it was is convenient too! The things I disliked about the water bottle (although it again was very affordable so these aren’t huge deals for me) are: 1) the water bottle isn’t very stable and is very easy to knock over - I believe this is because of the cheaper plastic it’s made out of & 2) the way the mouth piece and lid sit make using the straw slightly awkward as your nose tends to rub against the top of the bottle Overall, a good purchase but I’ll be spending a little more next time for a better quality bottle. (:

Motivates me to stay hydrated

Love the bottle, the color, the material, however it lick when you position the bottle sideways. Never the less I still like using is I just never hold it sideways. Plus it comes with a straw so no need to hold it up when you drink. I Love using it when I go to the gym, in the house, matter of fact it's right next to me as If you have trouble staying hydrated this is the best bottle because you can fill it up once and drink for most of the day. I wish it came with strap so I could have around my neck or waste when i go out during summer. beware forgot it's a big bottle so where you add water it will weigh heavy.

Exactly what I was looking for

I really enjoy using this water bottle. Easy to fill, the lock feature is awesome and works as advertised, and had a great price! It's also much better than the Opard brand water bottle I was using previously. I don't use the keeping track of how much I drank because I drink so much, but something to note is that after only a couple weeks of washing the writing printed on the sides of the bottle is starting to fade away. Makes no difference to me because like I said I don't use it, but others might.

I love this water bottle

Very sturdy amazing water bottle. The only "issues" I had with it was on the second day of having it the handle started squeaking when it moved. Which isn't a huge deal to me but felt may be something to mention. I also find that the straw isn't long enough and leaves a decent amount of water in the bottom. But other than those two quirks I absolutely love it.

Helpful

I like the weight of this water bottle - it’s not too heavy for how much water it holds. It’s also easy to drink out of and it has definitively helped increase my water consumption. Only notes would be the mouth piece is somewhat difficult to clean, but the straw does come apart so that helps. Also it does leak when not upright.

Not leak proof but still good

It’s definitely not leak proof if you tilt it to the side and it’s filled up all the way or even if it’s filled up to the 48 line, it does leak a little bit of water. Sometimes even if I’m using the handle to carry it and I do little jumps or some certain movements water does come out but I’m not too upset about that. Because it has a straw It helps me finish my water faster.

A daily staple. Hard to clean though!!

The top is easy to clean, comes apart nicely and the seal-proof feature is reliable. But because the handle isnt’ hollow, the space above and below it is suuuuuper hard to get to.

Bottle leaks when turned

Great sized bottle, and drink system from Ello. Lid is difficult to thread onto plastic bottle. If the bottle goes on it’s side or upside down, it fills the lid and then leaks out the side - not ideal if you want to put the bottle in your bag or for when you’re drinking. another thing I’ve noticed that when it manages to thread correctly the handle is on the left side - not functional. Wouldn’t recommend this product. Better off getting the metal 64oz, which is what I’ll get to replace this.

Great size but NOT leak proof!

This bottle/jug is fantastic as I don't have to fill it as often but unfortunately it leaks if you tip it at all. The times increments in the side would be helpful for someone that is struggling to get enough water in during the day and the spout is soft/flexible and the straw is large so you can take a large sip which I like. I did buy a 2nd as I like the bottle a lot just be careful to keep it upright.

Es muy bonito y útil para tomar el agua personal del día y se notan los materiales de calidad. Hay que tomar en cuenta que es de 1.9L de capacidad, si es grande pero lo vale. Había leído comentarios que se derramaba el agua al voltearlo y dudé en comprarlo por esa razón, pero mi caso no fue así, lo he volteado por completo y no hay fugas de agua. Lo recomiendo mucho!

Great bottle for at home

It’s a good water bottle to have at home, I like that it’s big so I don’t have to fill it often. It does leak when you have it laying on its side. And sometimes the lid doesn’t close properly but that’s probably just me. Overall quality it good and would buy it again.
