Quality Hammers

Great shape, no imperfections. I know it will last, because I've been using the smaller version in an automotive shop for over 20 years. It's one solid piece, so don't have to worry about handle damage or the head flying off. Dirt, grease and oil have had no effect on the handle grip either. My only complaint is that they painted the whole thing blue. If you look closely at the old one in the picture, it was originally painted gray. There's not much paint left, but it doesn't stand out since it's close to the color of the metal. The blue hammer is going to look like crap in a couple years. Estwing should just save their money and leave it unpainted.

Estwing or forget it!

Great hammer, I use it welding in the oilfield every day! When the 20oz isn’t enough, this one provides all the violence and then some. People keep “borrowing” it when I’m not looking.

4 pound hammer

I have no doubt that this hammer is solid and well made. My only issue is I think a slightly heavier hammer would be nice, maybe 5 to 6 pounds . I'm tempted to use this hammer to start the split , then get my bigger sledge hammer to finish

Handle won't come loose. Works great with a wedge to split wood. all one piece. Perfect for my needs. use it for all my wood splitting. Fantastic purchase.
