Good concept if it happens to fit your grill

This wood grill scraper is a nifty concept - biodegradable, eco friendly, and unlike pumice stones doesn't leave behind any residue. The only catch is whether or not the existing notches happen to fit your grill. I can say for sure that the out-of-the-box notch spacing doesn't fit either my Wolf range or my old outdoor barbeque. The good news is that because it's wood it's easy to customize it for your grill if you have the necessary tools. Just cut a new edge and then make new notches with a drill press or hand file with the appropriate spacing.

Well made scrubber, much better option to clean your grills. Doesn't line up on my weber,hoping when we dig out the old coleman it'll work.

Handy Scraper, Holding at an angle makes it line up

This is a great scraper. While it didn't line up with my grill by default, I found that holding it at an angle made it work well and it is slowly conforming to the grill I use the most like a new pair of shoes. I like that I'm not scraping the ceramic-coated grates with metal anymore. Overall very happy with the "Fire & Flavor Wood Grill Scraper for Outdoor Grill – Durable Wooden Grill Scraper that Resists Splintering – Keep Your Grill Clean and Seasoned - Grill Cleaner Tool and Grill Scrubber".

Didn't fit my grill, I prefer my other one that I made the marks myself

I also have one of these that came without the ridges and you're supposed to create them over time. While that's a bigger pain in the neck, I think it's the better way to go honestly. These don't fit my grill/smoker (Cuisinart CPG-700). So while I can use this one out of the box, it's not nearly as helpful at cleaning than one that actually fits properly. Kind of a shame.

I've seen these forever and glad I finally got one!

After the news stories a few years ago about metal grill brushes causing harm I struggled to find a grill scraper that did as good a job of my old metal brush but didn't put my family and guests in harms way. I've tried the grill sponges, the coiled metal scrapers and others but NONE of them cleaned the grit and grime like my trusty metal brush. This wooden scraper is the next best thing and I'm happy I found it. The other scrapers did okay at cleaning the tops of the grates but did NOTHING for in-between and in the nooks and crannies of the grates. This wooden scraper, after you get it to mold to your own grates through heat and initial scrapings does a decent job of cleaning the tops AND SIDES of my grates. It doesn't have a hard and thin corner to get into those nooks and crannies, but it hits ALL the other buckets. (I still prefer the brush, but safety first!)

Not for Weber Genesis II

Seems like a nice quality wood scraper but grooves do not match up with Weber Genesis II grates. They need to update their listing for basic grill compatibility if the grooves do not align with popular models.

Cleans the grill great!

I have used the big brushes on my grill for years, and would always get annoyed because they would get gunked up with grease and char. This wooden scraper makes it easy to clean the grill and easy to clean off the scraper. I won't be going back to the old metal brushes.
