Fits and holds utensil basket

It fits perfectly and has enough room to put the same utensil holder as was hanging outside with special hooks

Great replacement for OEM

The bottom drawer was rusting everywhere and I’m selling my house soon. Doesn’t make any sense to replace the whole thing just for a drawer. This one is slightly different than the original but it fits perfectly. Unfortunately, the slight differences mean the silver compartment didn’t fit so I replaced that too. Total spent ~$100

It fits but you sacrifice space...

This is the rack that has replaced the original part on the GE website for my dishwasher and they no longer sell the original. The original was rusting and breaking everywhere, so I needed this or a new dishwasher. Pro: It fits and it does the job. Cons: My silverware rack no longer fits on the door or on the outside of the basket like before. Now it just sits in the rack unattached. I also lost space for my large utensil basket. This rack, like the original, has horrible reviews on the GE website so I am hoping this one holds up!

Looks good and works.

Replaced my rack due to the fact it was rusting and falling apart. The new rack is a little wobbly till it is full of dishes. I think it is due to the rollers. The old silverware basket fits if you turn it around so the handle is on the inside.

Good fit

Great fit to replace our rusted one but it arrived with a broken roller for the front. I managed to get an old one on it so I'm not bothering to return it. If it had not been broken I would have given a top ranking.

These racks will rust after a year or two

These racks will eventually rust with normal usage after about a year or two. Just be forewarned. The actual dishwasher works fine, but the racks will rust. I think it makes sense to replace the rack every two years or so rather than having to buy a brand new washer. The locations where it rusts are basically all the contact points on the rack, where dishes rest and even the utensil basket on the side. Just make sure you inspect the rack every so often and look underneath especially. You could in theory use the uber goop gray to repair sections that start to rust out as you see them, but in my case after 2 years it made sense to just replace the entire rack. Thanks GE!

Not original design. Pricey

The original design for this rack was discontinued. So I had to go with this. It fits and works just fine the big problem is silverware rack will not work with design, so be prepared to purchase one that does. Both items won't be cheap.

Just what we needed

This was a good replacement for our lower dishwasher rack. Our only complaint is that the silverware basket no longer fits on the door. We needed to move it inside the new rack. But it helped us prolong the life of our dishwasher which still works fine so no major complaints.
