Solid but not square

I used to mount a weather station to my roof. Mount is not quite square, fixed with the addition of washers to make mount straight.

Good sturdy mount.

Only reason I am not giving it but 4 stars is because the rod on my weathervane is only 1/2 inch and the lock screws are not long enough. Had to re tap the holes and us longer screws manufacture should include longer screws. As sold will not fit all weathervanes.

Nice and Sturdy and no hole in the roof! Great side mount.

Seems like a solid mounting for my very big copper goose weather vane. It took two people to mount that thing, I had to add a few shims to bring it past the roof line. Then added a siding face plate to protect the shims (made from pressure treated lumber) This job was to big for my 65 year but, lucky my family pitched in to install it. It looks great!!
