Sub par quality

About 2 months of use and this bag is already starting to tear where they always do around the inlet. Seems like I used to get at least 6 months out of these. Poor quality.

Disappointing Quality!

I'd give this five stars except for the fact that the net tears way too easily. This will be the third bag for my vacuum. The unit itself does a great job, but you reach a point where replacing parts just doesn't make monetary sense any more. I have put the current torn bag through way less use than the first one that came with the unit. It's poor quality and Hayward should give the option of just replacing the bag...I'm very disappointed because you're basically getting screwed.

Same as the original - doesn’t last long.

These typically only last me about 18 months before the fabric tears and the bag needs to be replaced. I wish they sold just the bag, but it comes as a complete assembly. It fits well, and works well, but the bags don’t last long. And there is no alternative. I even lowered the pressure to the cleaner this time to see if it would last longer - nope. I run my cleaner about an hour per day, year round, in my salt water pool.

Good value

This was purchased as a replacement for one I already have. It lasted 4 years so I feel it was a good product for the money.

Poor quality and overpriced

I've had to replace this thing at least 6 times in the past 4 years. My complaints are 1. that the screen material is too light and tears easily 2. the assembly costs too much. It seems like the screen material should be replaceable by itself but you are forced to buy the whole assembly. Hayward makes more money this way I'm sure. Next year I'll be retiring my Hayward Viio and replacing it with another brand for this reason.

Necessary for our Pool Cleaner

This is a necessary part for our pool cleaner which seems to need replacing every couple of years since the chlorine and sun finally do them in with weak spots and holes which make them no longer functional. Amazon has reasonably priced vendors for this item.
