great quality
These are well made, but I found that filing a little bit sharper point on them makes it easier to pierce some of the patches that I have which are made of a little stiffer material. These work really well and are easier to use than the loop style jags, but I'm always looking for patches that are large enough to provide a good amount of tension on the bore. These jags help fill the bore a little more than some of my other ones (which are really "universal" jags for everything down to .22) - so that allows me to use a little smaller patch and still keep my desired tension.

Very tight fit, may require trimming the cleaning patch so you can cram it in the barrel. Push in ok, comes off if pulled back
Very tight fit, may require trimming the cleaning patch so you can cram it in the barrel. Push in ok, comes off if pulled back. Buy any size cleaning patch, and cut into a one inch circle or so for a .270 caliber bore. Remember to push from the bolt towards the muzzle to expel junk out the end, not into mechanism.

Works just like it says. It does a great job of cleaning out my barrel, and it's SO much better than using those horrible eyelet patch holders.
