Works Quite Well

I have been pleased with this backing pad which is well made. However, I would have preferred that it be just a little bit more flexible, which would allow me an easier time with certain applications where a little more flex would be helpful. Nonetheless, it is a quality product and should last me a long time.

OK to give to enemies.

Made of crappy thin HARD plastic. From the photo it looks like the hard rubber that a well known brand uses but costs 4x as much. There's a washer molded in that is supposed to center the pad on the grinder. It's a normal stamped washer that doesn't properly fit either the grinder shaft nor the lip washer for centering grinding rocks or zip discs. OH the package states 13,200 but the pad itself states 20,000 I can't say I'd want to be around this at 5,000 even with PPE. I've had a few friend that were on the receiving end of of a bad batch of grinding wheels. One now has a 5in scar on his right arm. It looks well made in the photos. It's even priced at OK made backing pad price. But it's a $2 pad that might grenade.

Use Only With Resin Fiber Backed Disks

My error: Used it with a paper backed sandpaper disk... The cooling ribs quickly caused destruction of paper at “rib locations “. Continued use, resulted in damage to the ribs on this tool. This tool performs Very Well with Resin Fiber backed disks, cleaning and leveling concrete surface. I chose this on because of its 3 mounting pins.

Glorious!

Excellent product! Worked great until a klutz dropped my $250 grinder from about 6 feet, but I'm buying another. I wish it came with a spanner, but I can get by without it I suppose.
