Worked nicely

Installed this a month ago and it's working just fine. I needed to lubricate the original brass screws with WD40. Otherwise, the three original screws are very difficult to screw into the new kit. Check with Kohler before purchasing to ensure this fits your toilet. The model# is inside the tank.

"Unfinished" = "does not include bolts, washers and nuts" that Kohler website shows as included?

What you get when you order this item IS NOT what the Kohler website shows this part # as including (also what you get does not exactly match the picture in the Amazon listing...). The Amazon item description includes the word "unfinished" (but do internal parts need finishing?) so I assumed that I'll get what's included in the given Kohler part # according to the official Kohler website. Problem #1: According to the Kohler website Part Viewer (for "Devonshire® | Parts Viewer K-4438-0"), part # 1216615 (this item) includes part # GP51487 ("Tank Bolt Assembly Kit") which in turn includes the main seal plus 3 each bolts (part # K51624), washers and nuts (which secure the tank to the toilet bowl). What I received (in an official Kohler factory-sealed box bearing part # 1216615) includes the main seal and flush valve (and 1 each associated gaskets, seals and nut) but does not include any 3x bolts, washers or nuts to secure the tank to the toilet bowl. The instructions in the box direct the installer to "discard the old tank bolts"... so I guess I'll have to separately order (or not discard the original) bolts/washers/nuts? P.S. there is a review of this part on the Kohler website which has the same complaint. Problem #2: the bolts shown on the Kohler website as being included in GP51487 (which have a plastic or rubber bolt top including head) look very different from the bolts shown in the overall view of my toilet, part # K51624, which are plain 2.25" overall length brass bolts with large/thin slotted head. As a DIY'er hoping to "get in and out" of this job in one pass, the confusing info and deliverables described above (almost entirely the fault of Kohler) suggest I may have to do this job multiple times or delay it so I can preemptively order even more parts (including some duplicate parts).
