My pedestal sink now drains way faster than my last two.

It is great for a pedestal sink with out a vent. I had problems with two prior drains that would constantly get clogged or slowly drain. This fixed my problem.

Kohler quality

Quality metal and finish. Doesn't feel cheap like others. Convex with larger holes for easy draining without need for more expensive sink that has top vent hole. I have other Kohler products in my home that contine to look and function like new.

Appears black

Yes, this appears black but is actually oil rubbed bronze. I checked with several local stores and color was the same. Drains water at a super fast rate! This is made for a sink without an overflow.

check what is shipped is what your ordered, despite all the labeling appearing correct.

The product is great; our issue is with the seller/packer. All of the labeling on the box and shrink wrap bags inside list ‘oil rubbed bronze’ or Kohler’s product and finish, K-7129-2BZ. Thinking that Kohler’s ‘oil rubbed bronze must tint toward black I installed it. Researching Kohler and Amazon site I learned that what I really got, and already installed, isn’t oil rubbed bronze tinting toward black but is actually Kohler’s matt black version of the drain, Kohler product number K-7129-BL. The installation instructions were sparse and I would have appreciated a bit more detail delineating the circumstances which of the two rubber gaskets would be installed. Other than the drain is the wrong color, and it took a disassembly and second install to get the right rubber gasket in place it is a good product. It drains much better than the Sinkology product, which not only couldn’t keep up with the faucet flow and backed up it also leaked between the brass down tube and the threaded tube it fit up inside. The Kohler is product works great and would have been a one time install had I known about which gasket to use.

Cheap finish

After only several months of being installed, the oil rubbed finish is coming off. We bought two, and it's happening to both. They look terrible.
