Deceiving pictures

I expected to receive a set of wheels that attach to the bag with a zipper, based on the pictures for this bag, but instead I got the same plastic clips as the other McKlein bags. That's specifically why I bought this bag rather than other Siamod or McKlein bags that were more affordable. It's disappointing, but I will keep the bag because it does look nice enough and I need it for work, but it's very deceitful advertising.

The picture does not do it justice...

I have a 15.4 laptop. I was concerned that it might not be large enough for my laptop and other supplies I need to travel with on a regular basis. I was pleasantly surprised that it has several sections and pockets for all my supplies. I have been using it for a little more than a month daily. It is durable and fits my needs as well as looking professional.

Computer case on wheels

This my first purchase of a computer case on wheels. The bag is of very high quality. Its sturdy and the handle pretty strong. I have always received compliments on the bag in the elevator at work :). Overall happy with my purchase. Although I had ordered the cherry red color, I received a Black bag ... since it looked good did not care to exchange.

Leather quality

You can tell that the leather quality is cheap and won't last. The design looks amazing other than that this thing won't last more than a year or 2

Excellent, elegant product!

I ordered this to replace my former rolling laptop bag (black, McKlein Chicago series) that I had used for over 5 years. On the old bag, the telescoping handle had finally quit telescoping, plus I was tired of black. Features I particularly wanted included good quality materials, smooth quiet wheels, detachable wheel base, must fit 17" laptop, and TALL telescoping handle (pet peeve of mine is having to slouch to reach the handle of the case once it's tipped on its wheels). My finalists were this Siamod model, another Siamod case (the Ceresola Vernazza model), and the McKlein West Town 15704 S series. Final choice came down to aesthetics, so I don't think you can go wrong with any of those. This is called "cognac," which is a gorgeous soft warm brown color. It has fewer compartments than my old McKlein case did, but that's OK since it's also lighter and less bulky (ain't no WAY that old one could fit in an overhead airplane bin....it usually had to be gate-checked). I think it will fit under the seat in front of me on most planes, but that wasn't a specific goal, and I don't mind gate-checking if necessary. Only negative for me: you need TWO hands to completely lower the telescoping handle. With one hand, you can lower it one notch (by pressing down with your thumb while pushing the handle down), but then it stops. To lower it down any further, you have to press a little silver button in, located way down on the handle near the case itself, AND simultaneously push down on the handle. However, I expect to get used to that, and if I need to pick up the case and carry it, I can do so with the handle lowered only that one notch...so it'll probably be fine. It's just different from what I'm used to. Other caveat: while the size is fine for me (will fit my 17" laptop, plus power cord, mouse, notepad, pens, etc.), it holds a lot less than my old case did. In addition to the laptop, I can only fit about five case files in it comfortably (compared to 10-15 files in my old case). So if you are looking for something like a total mobile office, this might be too small. Veeeery nice craftsmanship. No detail was overlooked.

Does not hold up

After only a month of use, the outside latch is broken. The leather is not weathering well. Overall I'm disappointed given the price of the unit.
