Hard to Crank Hose Reel

The hose reel was very stiff, my wife couldn't pull the hose out and I struggled. They seem to have put the wrong O rings on the hose inlet piece. They used a #16, I switched it to a #15 which has the same ID but 1/16" smaller OD and that solved the problem.

Just two weeks after owning. The spigot scratched the out surface while cranking in.

Lacking quality

I wanted to buy something clean and simple for the patio. This seemed to work. But upon inspection, I noticed several dings and that the manual stated you can not put anything on top of it. The fittings looked plasticky and the fit and finish did not exude confidence that this very expensive box would hold up for years to come. The foam strip that softens the closing door on top seemed flimsy. I returned it promptly. I just can’t risk spending this much money on something that doesn’t give me 100% confidence.

No way this holds 200’. No guide for helping roll up the hose.

Leaks Terribly

We have tried everything but cannot get this to stop leaking in the area that joins to the water hose and i am looking into returning it. I have two other similar to this of a different brand and they work perfectly. I would have ordered one of those again but it was sold out so I thought I would try this one. Don't waste your money on this.

Really bad customer service

This was drop shipped to my house. Looks nice, but the bag of screws was not in the box (4-M5 bolts, 1-M6 bolt and some lawn spikes that look to be about 4"long but threaded on one end).. I called liberty Garden products to them to ask them to send me the bolts... they were closed on Saturday when I was assembling this.. ok left message, their VM said they would call next business day.. they did not. I called and told them the bag of bolts was missing... I was told I needed to fill out a on-line form (and include the receipt to prove I was not lying about getting free bolts?).. Tuesday morning got email... will send bolts. Tuesday afternoon got ANOTHER email... we have no bolts, return it to the store. Told them it was shipped to me and who was going to pay for return postage? The replacement bolts (from HD) would cost about $4, but I need to know the specs (thread size) on the lawn spikes... nope, they won't tell me! Don't throw out the box until you are sure it is working!

Nice finish, easy to install.

The product has nice finishes, easy to install. Weight is a bit too light, it will be better if it is heavier so it won't move when I pull the hose out. That's why 4 stars. If it is heavier, it will be a 5 star product

Big Improvement

Much tidier than an ordinary hose reel. It improves the look of the garden significantly.
