Pretty sweet, but not quite flat.

I have mixed feelings on this. First, it is nicely made, sturdy as heck and hefty! That much I like a lot. I have an Incra Mast-R-lift which fits the cutout here and can be made to work. The shipping was fine and exceptionally fast. Where I am disappointed is in the .010” crown. This is precision ground, it should be much much closer to flat. Honestly it should be .001” but I’d be happy with a couple thousandths you perhaps .005” even. I’m frankly at a loss for how these come out with such a large crown. A crown is certainly better than a concave surface though. I checked this with an inspection grade hand scraped camel back straight edge which has been verified flat to less than .0005” on a certified granite surface plate that is routinely recertified.
