Does what it needs to
It's not the prettiest item, but the magnet is strong enough for my needles. The magnet strip is cut quite ugly, with frayed edges, but it's not like people are going to be looking at my sewing kit. Packaging kind of sucks, I was lucky that the double-sided adhesive strip holding my case onto the package wasn't that old/that strong, so it came off fairly easily, but still left a sticky residue.

Works great for my cross stitch projects. Holds a lot of needles. Strong magnet and good clasp. Worth the price.

Arrived broken and unusable, they're replacing it
This arrived in a box with other things, so it wasn't damaged in shipping. It was defective because the magnetic part was bent and the lid would not close. Not a good thing if there are needles in there. Amazon is replacing it free, So nice of them! I am hopeful that the replacement will work. I have an older version of this for my regular sewing needles and wanted one for needlepoint needles.

Love the magnet!
I really like the magnet quality to this container. It keeps the needles safely contained and I can even leave a little thread on the needle. I like the see through top too!
